Tide Simply OXI Liquid

I have 5 containers that have gone bad. I say they went bad because I check when I buy them and they were blue and now they are Brown Green and nasty. Usually, this is a good product. I’m not sure what’s happening but I won’t buy this product again:

I have used this product many times. But the last two bottles I have the liquid is gross looking and does not smell right. I have been trying to research this. Should it be thrown away?

this product is usually blue. when I opened it, it had turned a dark green/brown color. After several weeks it smells foul and has particles in it. I did not know that laundry soap could spoil! I'll be returning where I bought it

Fresh liquid from durable packaging. Clothes are clean and colors are bright after washing even in cold water. Affordable sometimes. To be perfect must make it cruelty free.

Love this line of products. The only thing I’m not loving is the scent. I wish they would add a lavender scent with the oxi. The product does as described

I bought Tide Simply OXI (74 loads) and I was so put off by the gross green/sci fy swamp looking color that after a few washes I determined it cannot be intentionally that gross looking. I looked on line and saw people say they had the same issue and Tide tries to claim it was exposed to light…… Others say it has mold in it. Whatever the reason, it’s disgusting.

I really like this laundry detergent it works really well at cleaning my laundry it gets the stains out really well I love this has Oxi stain fighter in it everything smells so good when it comes out of the washing machine and the scent lasts in the clothing for awhile I love the packaging it comes in a variety of sizes and scent options and the handle makes it easier to hold it's affordable and worth the money I would definitely buy this again and again

A good detergent has a pleasant smell not sharp. It is very convenient that there is a lid and you can measure the right amount. Removes stains but if very strong, it is better to use pre-soaking. Your clothes will be fresh, clean and with a pleasant light aroma.

I have started using these last few days, and I must say that I really do it. It is effective, and freshness is there. I bought these from Bjs, and it is totally valuable for money.

Whenever I do laundry my first choice is Tide. I love them. They smells great. Tide Simply OXI Liquid is really good at cleaning. It’s really clean my clothes very well. It’s remove stains from clothes pretty good. It’s pretty affordable too .

Opened a new container that I purchased within the last six months. The liquid is greenish brown with stringy chunks.

Cleaning power- good, colored mostly . Scent- standard Packaging- simple, value for money- 👍. Stain removal- cant take out much if its blood. You still have to double clean stains.

I purchased Tide with Oxy several weeks ago. I open to use and it is a scary brownish blue green color. Please advise. I can’t afford to waste money like this but I won’t use it.

This and Ultra Oxi have both changed smells! My family is complaining and we all get headaches from it. It doesn't seem to rinse out well, even when using a lesser amount!

I am 34 years old and I purchased this thinking to give it a try from my usual detergent. When I picked up the bottle, it said 20 loads but the feeling of picking up almost half bottle made me hesitant to buy it. I anyways purchased it and It didnt last for more than 12 loads when it says 20 loads on the bottle. The bottle was almost half emtpy, didnt give me what was promised (20 loads of wash) and I hate when detergent brands do this. DO NOT LIE on the bottle and say its almost a litre when its 3/4 full. I also filled the bottle with water after I had finished all the detergent to test if it could actually hold enough amount for 20 loads of wash. I was right, it didnt. it was merely 11 loads worth of detergent in there.

Just opened two bottles I had purchased a couple months ago. Greenish brown color. Awful. Was stored properly. Disappointed in Tide’s quality control. Definitely an issue.

I love tide but this one is awful! I am not sure if they are boxing up old product and trying to sell it but after only a month or two it turned brown and smells awful! When I first bought it looked normal but after a few washes it has complete changed color and smell. Tide you need to fix the formula or do a better quality check on your products.

I like this Simply OXI Liquid to clean my clothes. It lifts stains and odors of all clothes. My families clothes don't be real dirty or stinky. It just keeps my clothes clean until my next wash.

I opened the bottle and it was a brownish green color but that was not until after I had already poured it into my washing machine tray I have a load of white clothes in there I am hoping that I can get this out of the tray and not discolor or get in my washing machine and not be able to get out

Like everyone else on here, I also had the misfortune of wasting my money on these only for them to be a gross green/brown color and smelled off. My local drug store was running a sale on them so i foolishly bought (6) bottles and every one of them were this gross color and smell. There was no way i was going to use them. I poured them all down the sink (Tide, I have video for your QA team) but man, what a waste of my hard earned money only to have to go back to the store to buy a different brand. I only had them for a few days and they were kept in a cool dry place out of sunlight. There should be no reason for the detergent to get like that other than its an ingredient / QA issue.

The smell is overpowering. Also when I received it was half full. I usually buy the regular tide simply. I have also received that half empty. And this is from different retailers. Not going to buy tide anything anymore!

This is the 3rd bottle of Tide Oxi that I have purchased that has turned from a clean blue color to a murky greenish/brownish disgusting color. As you can see I have stayed with this brand hoping that maybe it was caused by some condition in my laundry room such as temperature or moisture change. I see numerous reviews with the same issue but what I don't see is a solution offered by your Tide team. I plan to stop purchasing this brand of Tide until I am assured that this problem has been addressed.

This product is a ripoff. I tried it on my whites only and then on my light clothes. Poured out blue color and ended up with gray dingy whites and my light colors look dirty. Two weeks later, I poured some out into the cap and it was a disgusting muddy gray color. Now I know why my towels and clothes looked like they did. Hopefully after a few more washings without Tide Simply Oxi, my clothes and towels will brighten up.

I bought in bulk and been using this type of Tide for years, I just realized it has turned murky brown. I was also surprised to find out that a lot of people are experiencing the same thing. Is this something to be worried about? I'm thinking of changing detergents.

I just cracked a new bottle of the oxi and, it looks similar to dirty motor oil. The blue to green color change I dont mind but this looks questionable.

I normally use this product for my kids because it’s not irritating to their skin but this is the third time I’ve grabbed a bottle and the detergent wasn’t the color it should of been I had already started my load just to realize the detergent was brown hopefully my clothes come out clean I was really timid because of the color but at that point I didn’t have. Choice I feel the detergent is old i looked for a use by date but didn’t find one I also shook it up but the color stayed the same

I bought the Tide Simply OXI detergent. I opened it and saw that it has turned a nasty brown color which looks like burnt grease or vehicle oil. The smell is sour and I’m not to sure about using it to clean my clothes. I wouldn’t want to ruin my nice work clothes and my family’s clothes. I’m not quite sure what happened to it but I feel like it needs to be tested some more. This makes me sad because I love using this brand and always have. :(

I bought the Tide Simply OXI. Has the color changed? It appears to be spoiled. It looks like old grease/oil. I am not happy with the product at all. I am afraid it will ruin my clothes. I feel that the product should have more testing or at least an expiration date on it. I have always trusted Tide with my household needs but am considering changing to another product.

I have been using this product for years but I bought a lot during a sale recently. Very dissapointed. The color and smell of the detergent is off. I babysit my 4yo nephew often and he's a dirt/dust magnet. This detergent cleans off stains and odors very effectively. The scent after washing is not overpowering. His clothes are also quite colorful but using this product allows them to retain their vibrancy longer in comparison to other brands. Great value and often in stock in mass retailers.

I simply just love Tide. The OXI adds another level of cleaning that is needed often in my home. I don’t need to use as much soap as other brands and the scent isn’t bad at all.

Turns brown and clothes weren’t clean and felt rough

My detergent has changed color and smell. It’s been kept closed, dry and in a normal temperature hallway closet as always but it turned green. Since I’m using a public laundry I had to run the load as is since it was already in the drum and am now worried about how my clothes will turn out.

While this product was great to begin with after using half the bottle the color of the detergent has now changed color from the blue color to now becoming a grey green and cloudy. The smell is now not refreshing at all. while this happened to another bottle once before I thought that it was just a bad batch but to see that it is happening again with another bottle it looks like once its open you must use right away before it starts to spoil. Now that I have half a bottle that needs to be thrown out and wasted more money because I had to buy more detergent.

I enjoyed using this brand of Tide called simply , the price difference is ok and this one includes oxi and the scent is refreshing breeze. I like that this detergent was able to clean clothes great and had a bit of scent left after the dryer. Would personally purchase again is on sale for $2.25.

Loved this detergent until I realized that my white sheets were now off white. Cannot say whether it was the detergent or “extra” I put in, but I will still continue to use

I have been using this version of Tide for a long time. My husband and youngest son both have "dirty" jobs and their clothes get so filthy. It does an amazing job at cleathing there clothes and leaving them smelling fresh.

It smells great, works hard remove top stands and is a lifesaver when it comes to getting grass stains out of my kids clothes.

After using about 1/2 the bottle our washing machine stopped. Had to call the repair man. He thought I was using too much of the detergent and the suds caused the machine to think that the washer was full. Told me to only go to line 1. I hadn't even noticed the markings on the bottle cap and just now saw what markings to use.

The product cleans well and smells great, however, I noticed AFTER I used the product that it did not have the he symbol. I didn't have any problems with my washing machine this time, but it is concerning that the website says you can use it on the he machines but the bottle doesn't have that stated anywhere. I don't feel comfortable using it in my machine. Why isn't it on the label?

This product has so many good reviews it is odd that I got welps and hives after wearing the clothes and using the towel I washed with this detergent. I think I will remember this experience for a long time. Wearing the clothes washed with this product felt like i would imagine pouring straight bleach on my skin would feel. I had to rewash everything with no detergent and two rinses to make sure the residue was gone. I had an extra large load and I used two little cap fulls of the $1.00 trial size so it wasn't a lot of detergent. The cap for the trial size is very small.

Had to wash everything a second time with two rinses to make sure I got all the detergent out. After the first wash and rinse I used the towels and wore the clothes because I didn't know I would be allergic. I bought the trial size for a $1.00 at Family Dollar. Ended up with welps and red marks looking like hives on my arm, legs, and face. Itching too much. Feels like what I imagine pouring bleach on skin and leaving it would feel like.

Tide is my tried and true laundry brand! I love it and think it does a great job fitting stains and odors. Never had any issues with it! This is my favorite version with the oxi clean because I think my close look just as good as when they were knew. We buy this in the biggest dispenser there is!!

The Tide Simply with Oxi detergent works great! I was unsure if I would even notice what the Oxi would do, but my clothes seem much cleaner, I had to go buy more!

I really like this laundry detergent it smells amazing and it is the cheaper option if you are going to go with Tide my clothes fresh and clean and the smell last for weeks this is my go-to for sure and a little goes a long way I wouldn't recommend trying it as I said it is the cheaper version

I bought a 31 oz bottle and was very disappointed to see it was only half full. Many companies do this where their products appear larger. I won’t pay a company to be deceptive.

This detergent smells incredible and leaves a long-lasting scent after washing usually most detergents need an added freshener to keep the scent fresh but this particular brand is so Exquisite it does not need any extra boost and keeping is fresh clean scent

I love tide brand . It works for my whole family for sensitive skin down to the scented choices and oxi. I personally use this particular one on my clothes & it smells so good. It’s not too strong to where it irritates my skin.

I am a fool when it comes to cleaning products and laundry tide has to be in my home I've noticed that since I've switched to using tide especially the brand with the simply oxy added into it my clothes look amazing the color looks more vibrant the material looks better the smell stays put on the clothes I purchased it usually in the 96 load containers because it has an easy spout where you can measure out as much fabric softener or as much liquid soap that you need instead of wasting it so that's always a plus too when it has the spout attached to the container pretty good price item you can usually find it on sale or a good coupon and your Sunday paper. Definitely recommend tide 100%

This is a nice detergent with a clean scent. I like that it has oxi added for a deeper clean. It’s got a nice scent but not overpowering. It cleans my clothes well and is more affordable than the other tide. We have sensitive skin and this has been alright for us. We used the original tide prior to switching to this.

This is pretty cheap. My brother who I live with loves the smell (I prefer the one with the berry scent) and I don't mind it. I would say cleans pretty fricken good for the price .. great find!

I have used other brands many times and had skins issue. Tide on the other hand never made me have any issues. It works well in my colors and white. I enjoy the love smell it has to offer. I do think they could go more natural with it and not add color to the pod but other than that it is perfect. I will keep using this product to can't anymore. FYI as a college student and money is tight you always can find a deal somewhere for this brand.

I was looking for my regular liquid Tide with bleach alternative that I used for years, but there was none in local Walmart or Walgreens, only Tide with Ultra Oxi. So I bought it and I hate it - I'll probably give away the rest of the bottle. Practically all my clothing is made of cotton, and this Oxi thing makes my clothing feel like I washed it with some cheap detergent - it's squeaky, thin, and it's going to be ruined after few washes - that's what it feels like. The reason I was always buying Tide for years was because it was keeping my clothes in excellent shape, and liquid bleach alternative was not causing any damage, while doing a great job. But this Oxi? Big difference. As I've said - like washing with cheap detergents, that I was always avoiding. If those new pods are no better, will have to look for a new brand - alas.

I would be glad to give a rating to this product but I simply cannot remove the orange measuring lid. It seems to have a thumb depression on one side but will neither twist nor unscrew. Therefore, I have yet to use it. Tell me how and I will get back to you with a real review.

This is my go to for sheets and towels and workout clothes! I needed something with a little extra boost and I think the oxy does it. I like that it’s gentle but has amazing cleaning power. It leaves my laundry smelling fresh and clean!

Been using simply tide for quite a while... sent husband to grocery store and he accidentally bought tide plus oxi. We both experienced the worst rash of our entire lives and ended up on steroids. Wasn’t sure that was what was causing it until I looked up reviews and found multiple complaints of rashes! Will never buy again!!

I like the smell and powerful stain removal results I get with this oxi tide liquid detergent. That refreshing breeze smell is nice. I always find this tide at a good sale price just about anywhere. I don't get any irritation from it or staining if I was to pour it directly on my clothes. Its good low priced brand detergent

I could not believe the stain removal of this detergent, usually I have to use a few other products to get these lovely ladies clothes spot free. Not with this. Simply Oxi is Simply amazing :)

Totally was able to not use any kind of pre cleaner such as spray and wash. Kept my whites whiter, and kept my colors from bleeding like my darks with my whites. No more separating for me.

First, I noticed the "clean" scent--not overpowering, but noticeable and pleasant. Good pouring; not too dilute or watered down, but not thick and gloopy, either. It formed a nice amount of suds that rinsed out completely. Cleaned the clothes well, removed the body odor, and it must be the Oxi in it worked well on stains. Held the scent through the dryer, and still detectable when wearing the clothes, but did not interfere with my perfume. My only alteration to this fine product is that I do not need it to be colored blue. It definitely makes the clothes clean and fresh.

I washed 2 equal loads of clothes with a mix of colors and darks. The first load was with my usual brand of detergent and the second one was with Tide Oxi. The load with Tide Oxi was cleaner, brighter, and smelled much better. Tide with Oxi is my new brand of laundry detergent!

I wanted to be completely honest about this product. After doing a couple different loads of laundry, with different levels of dirtiness, and watching a load of laundry I feel that this is an honest product. One load of laundry I had bleach as an additive and turns out I didn't need to use the bleach. Also, when watching a load wash in my front loader, I noticed that this detergent doesn't form any soap bubble at all, and it was still effective! Go figure. When I used it on my most soiled loads, my brother is handicapped and incontinent so sometimes accidents happened, this detergent knocked it out of the park. The scent is very pleasing and lasts a long time. You also don't have to use a bunch of it to achieve the results you need. The only criticism I have is that the color of the cap makes it hard to make out the dose lines in certain types of light. But when you get used to where the lines are your gonna be okay.

I really loved this detergent! The oxi boost in there did really well with getting rid of a few set in stains I had on a couple hand towels. The scent is great as well, it really lasted through the wash and it didn't aggravate my allergies or my husbands. I would totally get this again.

I've always been a Tide user for my sensitive skin. Wasn't sure by the smell at first how I'd like this product, but it left my clothes smelling so fresh and with the OXI added, all our clothes came out clean!

I have twin infants in my household so things can get messy, and the laundry piles up fast! Tide Simply Oxi is a solid detergent, that made the families clothes smell fresh. Even our sweaty sports clothes smelled like springtime. Across a variety of fabrics, we had no troubles getting out everyday clothes clean. I didn't pretreat to see how that would go. While most clothes came out clean, I would still recommend pretreatment on stubborn stains. One of my sons threw up his dinner of black cherry yogurt on a white polo shirt. Despite pre-rinsing, that stain did not come out.

There's nothing like getting your clothes out of your dresser drawers and putting them on knowing that your clothes are clean, smell fabulous and look great. That's how I feel about my clothes when I use Tide Simply Oxi.

I liked that this detergent had a nice clean, fresh scent and it's overall strength in fighting stains and odor was awesome! I used this detergent on a load of soiled (vomit) clothing and bedding and it only took one wash to get everything nice and clean! I also used this product on a pillow that was the victim of a nose bleed, and I chose not to pretreat to test whether it truly is that good. Well, the Oxi portion of the detergent proved to get the job done. I am very satisfied with Tide Simply Plus Oxi Liquid Detergent and you will be, too!!

I think this is a great detergent. The smell is very pleasant and I felt like my clothes were clean. The only reason this is not five stars is it was unable to completely clean my infant son’s soiled clothing. It did perform better than my previous detergent, but still needed to be washed twice or presoaked.

I think this product is a lifesaver! I am a mom to an elderly fur-baby. Now that he is 17, he frequently has accidents. I don't like to use a lot of paper towels to cleanup his accidents, and instead use old towels. He also wears cloth dog wraps for when I know I will be out awhile to help control the messes. Due to all of this I have daily laundry that has dog urine soiling it. Anyone who has dealt with pet odor knows it is very difficult to eliminate. Tide Simply Plus Oxi truly helped get rid of odors my laundry had been hanging onto from before the most recent need to wash. When I smelled the scent in the bottle I was afraid it would be way too strong, but it wasn't overpowering at all, leaving my clothes smelling fresh and clean. Tide, once again, prooves that they continue to produce quality affordable products!

Tide Simply plus Oxi did a great job of getting my clothes clean. A smear of dirt on my pant leg? Gone. I soda spill on my yellow shirt? Took care of it. My clothes looked brand new, they were soft, and they smelled great after one load of this stuff. I'm already a fan Tide, but I found this product to work even better than expected. I will be using this product again in the future!

I recently tried tide simple plus oxy on my work clothes. I work in a factory building wooden boxes/crates and I come home with mold and mildew and dirt and just plain nasty from work. I was using tide pods but the cost and effectiveness was not a balance. So I switched to another brand and fabric softener. Well I decided to try tide simple plus oxy I was worried it wouldn’t work but I received a shock. Not only did it work great for getting stuff out of my clothes but it also made them smell great without the fabric softener. The only Downfall I found was that the tide simple plus Oxy was Runny. The only downfall I found was that the tide simple plus Oxy was Runny. I got a bottle that was supposed to be 24 loads I maybe got half a little over half of that out of the bottle I think it needs to be a little thicker. It’s very efficient for cleaning clothes is just not efficient for a pocketbook especially when you are on a budget like I am. I love tide and used tide for years but I am a single mom with a messy 14-year-old boy And so I need something that is going to be cost-effective as well as efficient. I would still highly recommend this as it is good for work clothes but if you are on a budget I would maybe use it only on really bad clothes or for very small loads.

I have 3 Very messy kids, they are constantly getting in to trouble and ruining their clothes. I washed the colors in cold water and this detergent got out dirt, markers, paint and chocolate and they smelled great! My kids also have sensitive skin and I usually only use a free and clear. I glad I finally have an alternitive detergent that the kids can wear and mom loves.

Tide simply OXI smells amazing, and did a great job of removing some age-old stains I had on some shirts. I was pleasantly surprised that it packed such a punch but didn’t ruin any of my shirts. I usually use fragrance-free detergent, and was worried this would be overly smelly, but it is not. It did a great job of removing odors without being annoyingly fragrant.

I love this product! It removed tough stains and left the clothes feeling very soft. I also like the smell of the clothes once dry.

Tide plus oxi really helped me out. My husband is a cook and is constantly getting grease on his tee-shirts, this tide product has gotten the grease out and lightened the old spots too.

When I first got this product, I thought the odor was very strong and was a bit nervous to try it out. However, after cleaning several loads of dirty, sweaty laundry, I found it works great! The clothes come out extremely clean and smelling awesome!

This is everything I look for in a detergent! It has a fabulous smell that clings to your laundry after a washing. It's consistency is perfect! It's not to thick (which can cause oily stains and diluting issues) and it's not all watery thin. It was great at getting out those tough stains as well. I used it as a pretreater for some of our really soiled baseball uniforms. Worked like a charm! Tide Simply with Oxi is "simply awesomeness"!!!!

I was excited to try this detergent. I have 3 kids and a husband who works outdoors. Clothing can be pretty filthy. This detergent had a nice smell and actually cleaned the stains out of the clothes without Pre treating. I was very happy with this and would recommend.

I think Tide Simply Plus Oxi Liquid Laundry Detergent is a great laundry detergent. The clothes came out clean and smelling great. All the various stains came out of the clothes and towels the first time. It is easy to use as you only need one cap-full. Additionally, it didn't drip and run all over. The Tide Simply Plus Oxi Liquid Laundry Detergent even got out all the pet odors and stains. My cats and dogs do cat and dog things on rugs, clothes on the floor etc., with Tide Simply Plus, I've had no worries that remnants of hairballs might be left over. Overall, this is a great product and I will surely buy it over and over again.

This detergent is pretty great, if you ask me. The day I got it was the day that my youth group had a color war. So naturally being one of the councilors I had to participate. There was color everywhere, from my toes to the top of my head. My husband was completely covered as well, I dreaded washing our clothes, so many people kept saying "Oh that stains so bad. You'll never get it out." When we went home I remembered I had this detergent and decided to put it to the test. And I couldn't be more pleased! It got every bit of that color stuff out! Our clothes looked like they had never been worn! And on the plus side there was no allergic reaction to it (I have very sensitive skin, so the number of detergent I can use is very small).

I thoroughly enjoyed this product. The scent wasn’t overpowering and it cleaned my clothes well. I noticed a huge difference in my whites. I’ve honestly never seen them come out of the washer as white as they did, without the use of bleach. I would definitely recommend this product for whites!

I really like this Tide with Oxi, it left my close smelling so clean and fresh. My family which has sensitive skin didn't have a problem with me using it either which is a bonus. It also removed stains, which is awesome. I think I found a new Detergent!

I was happy with how bright my colors came very impressed with the sent. I will definitely be using this product for now on. I have 4 children age range from 5-17 and I am happy that no matter how dirty they get their clothes playing outside they come out as clean!

I used it to wash my husband's dirty softball clothes. They were covered with red clay dirt and smelled awful. The Tide Simply Plus Oxi worked very well. I think it smells very clean, not girly or too flowery at all. It laundered the clothes very well, and it made the clothes smell amazing before they even went into the dryer. I did not even have to pre-treat the dirt stains. The clothes came out smelling fresh and looking very clean. You don't have to use extra detergent to get the clothes clean which is important when you have to wash a lot of clothes. It also costs less than I usually spend for laundry detergent which is great for families on a budget.
