Berries may be good for you, but berry stains in clothes definitely aren’t. Follow these simple tips from Tide to remove and treat berry stains, so your clothes will be berry free in no time. Whether it’s blackberry, blueberry, cranberry, raspberry or strawberry stains, Tide can help you get rid of berry blotches.
Remove Excess:
Carefully brush the excess berries off the surface of the fabric. Blot any remaining juice. Do not rub into the fabric.

Pre-treat:
Pour Tide Ultra Stain Release Liquid directly onto the berry stain, making sure to completely cover it. Then, use a soft-bristled toothbrush to help spread the detergent into the garment's fibers or rub the fabric together gently. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

Dose:
Use the cap to ensure you use the right amount of detergent. Just fill it with the correct dose of detergent, and pour it into the detergent dispenser if you have an HE machine, or directly into the drum before loading the clothes if you have a non-HE machine.

Load:
Without rinsing off the detergent, place the garment into the washer with other items. Leaving the detergent on the stain will give your wash that extra boost of cleaning power.

Wash:
Wash on the usual cycle, on the hottest wash temperature indicated. Always check the instructions on the garment’s care label.

Unload:
When the cycle is complete, unload the garments immediately.

If the stain persists after washing, repeat the previous steps before tossing in the dryer, as drying will set the stain.
