My athletic clothes still smell after washing. Embarrassing

I have used Tide for decades, but haven’t used Tide Free and Clear before. It cleans like regular tide but without the scent or bright blue dye that could possibly get everywhere. This will be something I continue buying.

The effectiveness of this product is great. It’s good for the environment. A great value for my money. The cent is good and the packaging is very appealing.

I have been using this detergent to wash my toddlers’ clothes due to claims that it is free of dyes, perfumes, irritating residues and is great for sensitive skin. This detergent has done a great job of removing their day to day stains including food spills, indoor dust and grime. Unfortunately, it had no effect on outdoor stains like grass and dirt stains, so I will definitely be using a concentrated stain remover as a pretreatment before throwing it in the wash. It took me awhile to get used to the lack of scent after coming out of the dryer, which I guess is the sacrifice you make to get rid of chemicals. I really like the fact that the detergent is just as effective in COLD water so you don’t have to worry about clothes shrinking or fading in the wash.

Decided to give this a try when I usually go for All free & clear but the color is really off putting. It’s brown. Quick google search says it fine and due to temperature change in transport but doesn’t really sit right to clean clothes with.

Tide free and detergent odor refresh liquid laundry detergent is a very high-powered zero cent detergent. I feel like it is packaged well and does not take very much to wash a large load of laundry. Also your clothes seem like they say cleaner longer so you won't have to wash them as often and can save some money that way as well. Honestly didn't have any problems with this detergent and would recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin or any kind of allergies.

The soap was very lightweight compared to regular tide. Packing was nice and easy to open. It does not smell strong so it won’t be harsh on your clothes. Prefect for spring cleaning time and worth the buy. It’s also environmentally friendly.

I know this is a free and clear soap but to me it does has a slight sent and it doesn't smell all that fresh. I did not notice a difference between my regular soap and this one when it comes to cleanliness.

If I’m being honest, I was very hesitant to try this because I read a lot of mixed reviews online. Apparently this formula is different from the original if I’m not mistaken. I can say that I was a little surprised at the color of this detergent. Considering it’s “free and gentle” I expected it to be clear but it’s a very pale, almost champagne color. Why? I’m not sure. Alchemy is not in my wheelhouse! I have tried it however and I do like this. My son has eczema and when I use this, it doesn’t irritate his skin. I sometimes suffer from dry patches too and this seems to help. We don’t realize how many harsh chemicals are in our laundry detergent and they don’t just rinse away. As far as getting stains out, this is on par with other well known detergents I’ve used. I don’t have small children that run around in mud or have grass stains on their pants anymore because they’re older, so I can’t really speak to that issue. Any chance I get to use an effective but cleaner product, I’m all in!

Tide Free & Detergent Odor Refresh seems to ha e the same cleaning power of tide without the added fragrance and dyes. Cleaned well, bottle poured easily. Tide is always a good value because it actually works. There's pretty much nothing I haven't been able to remove from laundry with Tide. But.. I prefer soap sheets o er liquid Detergent. They take less space to store, are better for the environment, and work just as well as liquids.

Good decent bottle size. Used for two times wash. The first time I just put one load detergent to wash but it feels like not too clean and the second time I put two load in it then it came out clean and refresh. Pretty much I have to put 2 loads of detergent for every wash to get the results I want. I like it all together and still worth to use it. Will recommend this item.

You don't need a lot at all!! I used a bit too much my first wash with it and definitely had to do another rinse, as I could feel a residue on my clothes. Haven't had any issues since adjusting the amount. I appreciate it's unscented as I tend to have sensitive skin to detergent fragrance.

This Tide odor refresh detergent really does it's job! I used it on stinky gym clothes , and it removed the musty stench completely! I love that it's scent free, so instead of just covering odors up with perfume smells, it actually removes the odor! High efficiency formula is also a plus!

The lid came shattered and I lost over half the bottle but what I did use. It makes my clothes fresh without all the extra scents for someone who has eczema I highly recommend this it has helped cut down on my flare ups. Great product and I recommend.

Typically, I use bio-based laundry detergent pods. However, sometimes there are loads of laundry where the eco-friendly option just won’t cut it. That’s where the Tide Free Odor Refresh detergent comes in! I have used this on loads of laundry that include day-old vomit, kid poop, set in stink in athletic clothing, and thrifted clothing washed in all kinds of terrible scented detergents. The Tide Free Odor refresh kicked all the horrible scents to the curb and left the laundry clean. I wouldn’t use it on routine laundry but save it for the tough smells. I appreciate that it’s non-scented itself - so it isn’t just masking the smell with a strong scent. It’s actually making it better. I use liquid to the second line even for large HE loads. The instructions say to fill to the third line but that would exceed my machine’s maximum fill line. It’s more chemical than I would prefer but sometimes set in odors won’t come out any other way. I enjoyed using this considering I’m so used to scented stuff. I used it on blankets and towels and it still gave a normal clean like any other detergent. I would recommend this however I think I like scented better but this is a nice alternative!

I really dislike heavily perfumed detergents, so I really appreciate this alternative, which has no dyes or perfumes. It seemed very effective at eliminating odors, even without the dyes or perfumes. This giant bottle is cost-effective, since it is large enough to do 52 loads of laundry. Tide always removes stains effectively, even stains that are set in.

Tried this for the first time and I’m hooked. Used to be loyal to another brand but after trying this, I am a tied girl. Clothes come out of the washer smelling fresh clean indefinitely works on those tough stains.

I recently used Tide Odor Refresh Free & Gentle detergent in a heavy duty load of jeans. I typically take the metro in LA, which can be a bit musty & dirty so I wanted to use this to see if it helped take that mustiness off & it DID! Honestly I was surprised that the end result was a clear clean fiber smell if you can imagine that. The detergent itself has the same consistency as every other but it does have a tad bit chemical smell but that doesn’t show up for the end result. I didn’t feel like I have to use too much as well. One thing cool about this new packaging is that the lid goes all the way in and is transparent compared to other versions where it is opaque making it hard to pour the correct amount of detergent. I tried other fragrance free detergents but I haven’t felt like they cleaned as well as this one.

Cleaned all of our clothes really well and effectively! Packaging was very smart and had a mechanism so any spilt product in the cap fell back into the container so no waste! I love Tide products but I was skeptical that the Tide free and clear would clean as well ,so I tried it on my favorite sweater . This sweater has longer arms so when I’m working around the house the cuffs get really dirty. I washed the sweater with Tide Free and clear and was amazed it not only got it clean but also got rid of older stains. I’m so happy because this is my favorite sweater.

Smells great fresh and clean and not to strong. Even after wash it doesn’t smell like plain Jane, can smell like normal laundry detergents. My toddler goes to daycare so sometimes his clothes come back very messy but this got everything out without the harsh scent!

Going to start by saying I typically use only the tide simply all in one in the yellow bottle for laundry.It does everything I need to do.I thought this one would be just as good but upon opening it smells of wall paint. This came as I was doing laundry so my last load I used this. It seemed to have done the job as the sweat smell in the sports clothes was gone and there was no smell to anything else. I do prefer the light scent the simply all in one gives over this one though.

This worked pretty well, as does all tide products. It's a standered sized quality bottle. There really is no scent. The color of the product is like dirty water, though. However, it does get the clothes clean and take away any odor there may be.

With kids in the household and a general desire to not unnecessary ingredients in the things I use, this Tide Odor Refresh free & general laundry detergent was just what I needed. It is unscented and has no dyes. At the same time it states that it strips odors. I put this to the test with spring mud filled and sweaty clothing. I used the “medium load” measurement with a decent amount of clothing. Once complete I threw some in the dryer and left other towels and such to line dry. The verdict: Both the dryer and line dried clothing both maintained a neutral scent. Sometimes clothing comes out of the laundry smelling worse than it was before it went through the wash depending on what detergent I used, but when using the Tide detergent, it all smelled clean. Given the great benefits of the clean clothing it delivered and a limitation of excessive ingredients I have made this my top pick when buying Tide.
