To remove odor: - Rewash with the hottest water safe for the fabric, using the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener. - One cup of vinegar can be added to wash, if not bleach safe. - Be sure to check owner’s manual on how to clean out machine or do service wash on machine. - The heat from the dryer may help remove excess perfume from clothes, potentially leading to better solutions for consumers concerned about strong garment odors. To prevent odors regularly clean your washing machine, avoid overloading it, use the proper amount of detergent, wash with the appropriate water temperature, remove clothes promptly after washing, keep the door open to air out the machine, and make sure clothes are completely dry before storing to prevent odors and maintain cleanliness.
