Tide Clean and Gentle Powder

I found that this has a scent, so I returned it to the store.

This detergent is a must for my boys who suffer from sensitive skin. Tide Clean & Gentle is my go to for all of their clothes, especially towels & bedding.

This stuff right here is my new favorite friend. This got out some heavy mildew on this rain fly. I so wish I had a before pic. The fact it comes in a cardboard box instead of plastic is so nice! It breaks down easier for environment and in your bins! I also have super sensitive skin and have been able to use this on all my sheets and towels with no problems!

As a mom with allergies whose child has eczema, you can assume we have sensitive skin. We also go through a lot of clothes in a week. This detergent is such a great value! The box is large and the product lasts a while. You don't have to use much. It has a clean scent that's not overly perfumed.

Really like this. It’s really fine powder and it gets clothes clean and doesn’t leave residue on them after they are washed. There is no fragrance, and it is the perfect detergent if you have sensitive skin! It’s a good value for the size you get also.

You don’t have to use much for a regular sized load and I like that. I don’t usually like scented detergents because the lingering smell of the clothing after the wash usually bothers me, but this scent is very subtle once the clothes are dried. I liked this detergent a lot and find that I would likely purchase this again. The only thing I don’t like is the packaging. With the box opening the way it does there is no real way to keep the lid all the way closed after you open it, and as a result powder tends to get on the washer lid and the countertop. I wish it was in a resealable bag; that option seems like it would be neater. Other than that objection I would highly recommend this product.

This detergent is dye and scent-free. Gets my laundry clean and freshened with no additional perfumes. I am able to use my favorite brand of dryer sheet after and not worry about scents clashing or being too overpowering.

Pleasantly surprised with how well It cleaned my husbands clothes that had grease stains all over them, and the smell is gentle on sensitive skin and smells clean. Another great day is it doesn’t cost nearly as much as the original Tide also, and that is wonderful as a Tide product.. if the packaging would have a lip or some type of way to lock it, that would make it that much better so if it falls it’s not going everywhere.

I normally try to avoid powder detergent because it makes my skin itch. I haven’t had any issues with this product so far. My go to is the tide clean and gentle but I typically use the liquid version so this was nice being able to try it out. I like the carbonated box better than the plastic tub so if I end up with no bad readings through the month, I’ll make the switch

This laundry detergent smells nice without being too strong if you have a sensitive nose. Since there is enough soap for at least 68 loads in the single box I think that makes it more eco friendly. The pack would have been easy to open but I didn't notice there was a specific way to open it until after I tore into the box. If you open it the right way it's pretty easy to keep closed in between uses. My clothes are cleaned efficiently and don't have a strong smell to them. Overall a good buy!

If there were a million ways to thank both Tide and Influenster for the complimentary full sized Tide Clean & Gentle Laundry powder it would never be enough. I appreciate being able to presoak soiled clothing and bedding. Call me old fashioned but I like for my whites to be white and for my colors not to bleed. It's gentle enough to wash baby clothes and to handwash unmentionables. I even mixed a bit with some baking soda and borax as an antibacterial for my clothes without having to rinse a million times. Bottom line, the best Tide!

I love using powdered detergent, it’s so old school! I especially like that we’re not paying to ship water weight, which is kind of pointless. The detergent is very concentrated and easy to just flip the lid and scoop some. I like the ease of access, no caps or sticky messes. Distributed evenly and I had no problem with it dissolving and rinsing clean in cold water only washes. I trust Tide brand and I really like this product.

Tide Clean and Gentle powder laundry detergent is simple to use. The box wasn’t easy to open or maybe I opened it wrong. There was a scoop included and it is easy to get the right amount as the sides clearly show how much to use for different size loads. Dumping in and run some water, then throw your clothes in. After the wash is done, the clothes look and smell clean. There were some stains that didn’t come out in the wash but they had been there for a long time. Overall, it works great and didn’t cause any reactions to any family members. I did receive this product for a discounted rate for my honest opinion.

There’s not much bad I can say about this product. I like that it’s clean and fragrance free. It works well. Definitely make sure to use the scooper because you don’t wanna put too much or two less but I would definitely recommend this. I know a lot of people rather have the liquid version, but it doesn’t matter if it’s liquid or powder it still gets the job done.

Feels very clean. Does the job well which I was surprised about. I add my smelly beads as usual. I feel like they are actually holding a stronger smell now which is nice. It seems to last longer for nice smelling clothes too.

I received this product to try for my honest review. To be honest, I’ve stayed away from Tide as I have very sensitive skin and have broken out in hives previously when using this and other name brands. However when I saw this was for sensitive skin I became excited to try it. I was pleasantly surprised with this product as I didn’t have any reaction and this cleaned a very dirty shirt extremely well? When opening the box, there was a tab that easily zipped the top open, but did spill some detergent on the floor. The scoop had markings on it to follow what the instructions showed which was also nice and the powder dissolved all the way in the wash. This was a great product and I would recommend to all.

It’s okay. I wasn’t really able to find any directions on the box on how to use it. It came with a flimsy plastic cup to place the powder detergent in. Smells decent. I will say that it IS gentle on the skin.

I love that Tide now offers a clean and gentle laundry detergent for more sensitive skins! You get a lot in the package and it dissolves quickly in both hot and cold water. My only complaint would be the packaging is a little awkward and some spills out when you open it. Also, it is lightly scented, which surprised me for a "sensitive skin" product, however it's a very light and mild scent and disappears rather quickly. It is not a concentrated wash powder for high efficiency, so you will want to check the side and use the correct amount to get your clothes nice and clean. Overall a good product!

The detergent is great. There’s no scent, gentle on skin, and washes out effectively without leaving residue. I’d give it 5 stars for the powder itself. The packaging probably deserves a 1 star rating. I guess it’s supposed to be eco-friendly, but it was a mess when it arrived. The box had a few small holes so powder was all over the shipping box, and when I opened the detergent itself more powder fell out due to it not being held securely in the container (see pictures). It would make me hesitate about buying it moving forward to be honest. Whatever the benefit is from eco-friendly packaging is probably outweighed by the paper towels and stuff I had to use to clean up the mess it made. Overall, I’m going with 3 stars just to give the benefit of the doubt that this hopefully isn’t a widespread issue. It could easily be 2 stars overall if the packaging is like this on a regular basis. Really a shame because I’ve never had issues with liquid detergent packaging, and the powder product itself is great. I’d hope there’s a relatively easy fix for the packaging, and if so it’d be a 5 star product overall.

Normally use pods instead of powder but having the free and clear is essential. It made the clothes super soft with no residue. Will buy again even though it’s powder.

I really like this one I will definitely be adding it to my shopping list and I think it worked great cleaning my clothes! another plus sometimes with powder detergents you see clumping on your clothes of the detergent and i didn't see any of that

The sand is very fresh and this packaging is gentle with coloring. I looked up the value while at the grocery store. This is a good value for the amount of loads you get in one box. I feel like the brand tide is always very effective when removing stains from your clothes.

I really enjoyed using this detergent. I usually use liquid so a powder was a change for me. I may be a convert! I like the simple square packing as I fits in my laundry area very well. It was easy to open, just tear the tab and voila box is open. I was surprised to see a nifty measuring cup inside (again I don’t use powder-so maybe this is normal?) but it was big and easy to read. My fear with powder was always it not melting. Well fear no more! This melted into the cold water EASY. Couldn’t even tell it was a powder. Made a little bit of bubbles but nothing overwhelming. Clothes came out clean. There are no perfumes, but the clothes smell “fresh”. Definitely a good choice for a powder detergent!

It doesn't have a smell if you have sensitive skin, which is nice! The scoop got buried so I had to dig for it, I think I would've liked if the scoop was attached somehow to the top of the lid inside the box.

I’ve been using this detergent for awhile and since I have a child that is very sensitive at the perfumes and ingredients of the others products, I have to insist that this is a life safer. The scent is very mellow and cleans throughout and effective.

I usually the purchase the liquid version on this Tide free and clear, and I am glad I get to try out the powder version. I really enjoy the powder version because it gives the same effective clean without having to deal with the messy cap from the liquid version and it is very easy to measure what’s needed. This was a not what I was expecting! It is a dry powder product not a pod. It is a lot so I would say it is good value for money. The only reason why I gave it a 4/5 is because I am not sure how to use it. I wish it came with instructions to best avoid ruining clothes.
