Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Liquid Laundry Detergent

I have been using Tide with Bleach my entire adult life. It’s my go-to detergent I use for all my whites and light colored laundry (a large percentage of my laundry). Why can I no longer find it? I hope this is temporary. Please do not discontinue this product!

I have finally ran out of my Tide with Bleach Alternative. It was my favorite detergent and had been buying it for years. I have tried Tide Stain ultra and it does not work as well at removing stains. I have also tried Tide with Oxi but don't like the smell. The smell of oxi was really off-putting for me. I loved the Tide with Bleach Alternative. I could just throw all my clothes in with barely any pretreating and everything came out clean. That is not the results I get with other Tide products. Please bring back Tide with bleach Alternative.

I’ve been using Tide with bleach and it works fine. Now I can’t find it at my local WalMart, but they have “Hygienic Clean” I don’t even know what that means. The print on the bottle is so small I can’t read it even with my readers on. Please don’t change the Tide with Bleach. It worked well. I have a son with Cerebral Palsy and he’s very messy. I depend on my Tide to keep things healthy.

I used Tide with bleach for years and it worked great for my white shirts. This time I purchased Tide with bleach and was surprised to see that the detergent color has changed from original blue to green. I washed all my white shirts today and was very upset, all my white clothes have a green hue now! Please bring back the original formula in blue color, it worked 100 times better than the new green!

Haven’t experienced the green but refuse to pay $40 for clothes detergent so through with Tide won’t be looking for it anymore. No detergent is worth the extreme prices you’re asking!

I was in a Target Store today and they only had one bottle of the HE version of Tide with Bleach Alternative. The only thing was, all of the bottles of Regular version had the same UPC code as the HE bottle. I need to use HE in my washing machine and Target was telling me that they were the same even though the Regular version did not have the HE circle on it. ARE THEY THE SAME?? I did not buy the Regular version and have driven several places without finding any HE. Only bought the one and now will have to keep searching for HE before I run out.

Long time consumer of the Tide w/bleach alternative. Just purchased (2) 92oz bottles yesterday and both are green. Just washed one load yesterday and haven't dried it yet, so not sure if my wife and I are going to experience the skin irritation reported by others. All the replies I've read regarding this issue simply state "please give us a call". I have used tide and tide with bleach alternatives for over 40 years. I have been disappointed with the changes that have taken place. First the color is green not blue. Second the scent has been changed. I finally decided to look this up after purchasing a number of containers that are like this. Please bring back the original formulas to your products. Fine to experiment but according to the reviews this is not working, for others, nor for me. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I have been using for many years, and have always been satisfied with the Tide with Bleach Alternative. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. The Tide turned from the normal blue color to a toxic looking green color. I'm also finding that it is irritating my skin, which was never the case. Used Tide loyally for 30 years, so you can imagine how unpleasantly surprised I was when I discovered the dramatic scent change after using a new bottle on my laundry. The new "original" smell is overpowering and made me physically ill. Had to triple wash my clothes and machine with vinegar and baking soda to get it out. Horrible. In addition to the overpowering scent, which is a clearly an attempt to overpower any dirty odors by dousing them in perfume reminiscent of scented trash bags, my laundry felt coated and greasy. I've been hunting down bottles of original scent on ebay because I CANNOT USE TIDE ANYMORE. Do not buy any of the Tide original products because they have this awful overpowering scent.

I Have been using Tide w/ Bleach Alternative for years and this last $30 purchase has turned a green color from its usual blue. Very creepy looking. Also has a watery look. Spent a lot on this product and had to throw it away. What’s happening? And how can I get reimbursed. As much as I love this product I can’t recommend until I hear an explanation from you. I have used this laundry detergent forever and love it but I am having a horrible time trying to find it. I will have to drive to more than one store every time I need to purchase it. I thought maybe it was being discontinued. While looking at the website I saw you could leave a review. I think this product is great and would love to just be able to find it. Please don’t stop making it.

A lot of these reviews are a little melodramatic. The smell isn't bad or over powering. I'm currently potty training and this detergent has been perfect. Gets the smell out when it's been in the hamper for a couple of days because I can't get to the laundromat the same day. ( I live in NYC and have twins) I washed my all white comfroter and it looks nice and bright and white. I slept with it, and I don't have any rashes, and the scent wasnt overbearing. My kids haven't had any reaction and they are sensitive kids. My advice is to get a small bottle and try it your for yourself.

I have been a long time Tide consumer. I always look forward to Saturday morning wash day when I can use my Tide with Bleach to get everything fresh and clean again, especially my bedding. I recently purchased a new bottle of Tide with Bleach and washed my bedding this morning. As soon as I took it out of the washer, I noticed the spicy scent. It smells like men's cologne. I cannot tolerate the smell, it is suffocating and it gave me a headache. I work in a hospital where we cannot wear heavy scents as they may not be tolerable to our patients. I cannot wash my work scrubs with Tide anymore. If I wanted to smell like a man I'd wear mens cologne and I certainly don't want it in my bedding (neither does my husband for that matter) I won't even be able to wear my own perfume. Nothing like a woman smelling like a man! Please please please bring back the light pleasant CLEAN scent. The way laundry is supposed to smell!

I am so glad I came here to see these reviews. Clothes smell stinky when they come out of the wash. The first few times I used the new TIde I thought the clothes were still dirty and repeated the wash 3 times before I realized it was just a smell, they smell great after coming out of the dryer with a dryer sheet. I relentlessly hunt for the original formula when I shop, especially online.

I’ve been a longtime user of Tide with bleach. I work in a barn. A vet recommended this detergent to me years ago to effectively disinfect clothing and I used it ever since. I absolutely loved the clean, fresh smell. I did my first load with a new bottle and the new scent instantly brought on a headache. Clothing was washed in warm water, DOUBLE rinse and still has a highly perfumed smell. What’s worse, is I can still detect barn odor under the perfume! It’s not cleaning, it’s masking. And poorly so. I never detected any barn odor on clothing when using the old scent. As one of the more expensive detergents on the market, I’d trust it would be the best. I will not buy this product again and I’m also highly irritated that I now have a new bottle of detergent that is useless to me. I cannot had this scent around me non-stop or I will be physically ill. And please, no defensive company response to this review. You made a horrible judgement call with this product and plenty of people have spoken out about it. Accept and acknowledge it and restore the product people loved and trusted.

The smell of the new version makes me nauseous. The "Original" white label is the gold standard in our house, thankfully we have found it on Amazon.

I don't like the HE version of this product. I cannot find the regular one anywhere. I wish Tide would sell direct to the customer.

I have used the older version of Tide with bleach alternative for years. It said 'original' on the bottle, but had little to no scent. The new scent is sickening; I had to wash my clothes twice just to try to get that scent out of the first load I tried of the new version. One could smell the sweet odor all the way out on the street from running the dryer. The label says 'original', but the bottle with the blue bubbles is not the same as the bottle with the white background. I returned to store and got my money back. Just AWFUL.

I have been using this product for over 15 years and I would never change to another product. I will say I have try others but I always come back to tide with bleach alternative. and yes I read the other reviews but sometimes when you switch different laundry detergent and body soaps you might get a rash and to the new scent formula change. first off,anywhere my clothes contact my skin such as socks tight,and underwear at belt line,,i get this itching.ive had to roll down my socks as much as possible to curb some of it.never did i have this with my old tide with bleach,plus this new smell has got to me.its really bad.why change a good product..to this..i,m to a point i have to look for a new brand ,after all these years.i use a top load.

I used to have a stain treatment that was miraculous: Tide with Bleach Alternative, Oxyclean and Borax. Soak. Soak a lot. It got out nearly everything. For oily stains I used Dawn for pretreatment. Double rinse to get out the scents because I am sensitive to scents. Then they changed the smell of all the Tides, and I just couldn't stand it. But I had to donate all the clothes that I had washed in the new scented Tide because I couldn't get the smell out. I washed them in baking soda, I soaked them in vinegar. Everything smelled even WEEKS after I had used scented Tide. I even had to stop using my dry cleaner/laundry because it was bought out by Tide. Even though my husband's shirts weren't washed in scented detergent, they came back smelling like Tide! I couldn't even go in the store because the smell is so overpowering. If people want their clothes to smell, let them use those scented dryer products. Let the rest of us be scent-free in peace.

I normally don't write reviews but I had to give my two cents on this new product. The NEW formula gave me an allergic reaction that I had to deal with for several weeks. I loved the old Tide with Bleach and had been using it for over 15 years. I also don't really care for the new smell. Why change a good thing, especially when you have so many loyal customers? Please bring back the old Tide with Bleach.

BEWARE!! If there are blue water bubbles then it is absolutely NOT the original scent! Make sure you see the white label used for years! This NEW original is very off putting. It has almost a burnt plastic lingering smell, very hard to describe. I rated it accordingly. It may clean from the perspective of getting dirt out, but if you have to re-wash to remove the smell of your detergent, not so much. There is no quality or value in a product that you will not use. This is been my go to for years… very disappointed they are branding it as “original”. No one in the family likes the way their clothes smell. I immediately was asked “why did you change detergent”. Our kids bring their laundry from school just so I, mom, can wash them. (In exchange for other chores). don’t bring back the true original I will be searching for a different detergent.

I have used Liquid Tide with Bleach for YEARS because I am allergic to many fragrances, especially Gain. I was really disappointment when I used the most recent bottle of Tide with Bleach that I purchased that the fragrance has been changed, apparently so that it smells more like Gain! Go back to the previous fragrance, there was nothing wrong with it or I'll need to find another laundry detergent.

Just ran out of my stock of Tide with Bleach Alternative last week and bought 6 new containers. Did my first loads and was horrified by the disgusting sweet and strong perfume from my family's clothes. What happened? This detergent was always unscented! I don't have allergies but I hate any kind of perfumes or smells in any of my products. Scented detergent just reminds me of the extremely cheap detergents my mother always uses. I had to put a mask on to finish folding (good thing I have plenty of those!) I went online to see what the heck was going on with my favorite detergent and now I know that I am not alone! Tide has made this product unusable. I will be giving away the one container I opened and returning the other 5. If Tide offers this detergent again in an unscented version, I'll be back. Otherwise, forget it.

I have used Tide w/Bleach for more years than I can count. I would use the Tide, with the blue Snuggle and Bounce outdoor fresh sent in dryer and have over the years people stop me in the store and ask what I use because my clothes smelled so good and even when my daughter was in daycare they asked what i used so they could. She's 21 now and was still asked that and i was still asked that was until ya'll changed the scent. Time for me to find a new detergent! Remember when Coke changed their formula and it bombed and they went back to original, you should have learned from them not to mess with stuff. so disappointed

We have used Tide with Bleach Alternative for years and regularly stocked up on it. In fact, I recommended it to everyone. Recently, my son, who does not live at home and uses Tide with Bleach Alternative, has been coming home, and I always ask him why his clothes are so intensely perfumed. We thought it might be in the washer in his apartment. Today we ran out of our last stocked up bottle, so my husband bought more, and we did a load. I immediately smelled the extremely strong perfume odor and felt nauseous. I googled it, found this page, and realized that you changed the scent. It’s just awful - it gives me a headache and runny, itchy nose. I immediately ran out and bought ALL, which will be my new go to detergent. I do not trust TIDE anymore. Just awful product decision. I think this is your second time that you changed your product to an intense perfume smell. Very insensitive decision for customers with allergies. Why try to fix something that clearly works. Hello. The smell from my latest Tide plus Bleach Alternative is overpowering. I have used this product for years and years and was shocked when I opened the new container I purchased May 24, 2021. I understand from reading the other reviews in July and June of 2021 that I am not the only person noticing this. I will have to change to a different brand of laundry product and I am so very sorry to have to do this as I do an average of six loads a week in our household and nothing can compare to the cleaning quality of your products. Dear Tide, I have been buying Tide with bleach alternative for YEARS and have always loved it! Recently, you changed your formula. The old formula was basically unscented. The new formula has a heavy perfume. I think it was extremely inconsiderate of you to sell your new heavily scented formula without properly labeling and warning your loyal customer base. Personally, I felt sick from the heavy scent and had to frantically search for a new detergent. I will now have to re-wash all my laundry as the strong scent has not faded. I will not be using this Tide product anymore. I’m strongly disappointed that you didn’t simply warn us!!

I have a medical condition and tide with bleach has been the only detergent I have been able to stand for decades. It’s 3 am and I up sick and stripping my bed , nightshirt and even had to shower again. I cannot believe you changed the smell with no warning. I always stock up which is why I am just now being tortured by this horrific smell. So I have tons of this disgusting detergent that can’t be used. I don’t know what I am going to do. I don’t understand. Just because new products have been developed to make clothes “smell fresh for weeks” doesn’t mean that everyone wants that or can even tolerate it. Tide with bleach alternative has a new "original" scent that makes it unusable. I will try to return to the store. If I can't return it I will need to throw it out. I've used Tide Bleach Alternative for 25 years and Tide Free And Clear for cloth diapering. I am so upset as I just opened a new bottle of Tide "original scent" bleach alternative and it is very overpowering. My nose is running and my eyes are burning from the scent. Why would you change a top rated product with so many loyal followers and not at least put a warning on the bottle that the scent is different?? Better yet, if you wanted to introduce a new scent, why not add it as a new offering instead of removing the existing option that everyone depended on? I used Wisk until it was pulled. I switched to Tide. I tried the Tide Oxi--but too much scent. Switched to bleach alternative and was happy. I happily used Tide Bleach for years with great satisfaction. Opened a new bottle this past weekend and discovered a sickening new scent! So purfumey!!!! I checked the bottle and it still looks exactly like the old bottle. Please add labeling when the product changes!! I buy things ahead of time to keep on hand. It is so disappointing that after years of being a great product, you have changed the scent. It is terrible. I now need to purchase a new detergent and rewash all clothing and linens that have been infected by this smell. I have had horrible allergies since this scent changed. It is awful.

Because of smell sensitivity, I will no longer buy this product. It smells like a smelly dryer sheet. The label needs to be changed indicating new smell. Just got a new bottle and the scent is TERRIBLE!! I barely opened the cap and new that i shouldn't have used it but did because i was out of the old scent, and now I'm having to redo my laundry with different detergent. I had to rewash my laundry in unscented soap (which I dislike) and now I have a gigantic container of soap that will be thrown out. Tide that I’ve used for 30+ years has changed its scent. It now smells like cheap detergent, not the high quality detergent I’m used to. I can not and will not use this product, as it smells so strong like cheap perfumey fabric softener. If anyone has allergies or asthma, stay away from this product!

Did you learn nothing from the past? The last time you tried a bleach alternative, it didn't work. It isn't working this time either. The boys' sports clothes do not come clean, nor do they smell clean. I will no longer purchase any of the Tide products until I can buy Tide with bleach. I am sorry to see it go.

Last week I left a pen in my laundry and it exploded in the dryer and the ink got into thr entire drum and the clothes. My sister thru out her favorite lounge sweater because she thought it was ruined ( so did I). I took it out of the garbage and washed it with Tide with bleach and guess what? I really love using the bleach alternative in the original scent because it truly does whiten my whites without the need for chlorine bleach and at the same time it also does an excellent job of protecting my color clothes,I always wondered about the dingy water getting back into my clothes and this helps with that as well....so if you ask me you just can’t beat that,two thumbs way up and a new favorite for my family

Let's start with a little story: once upon a time, way back in the dark ages of the 1980's, my mother used Tide detergent on my baby clothes. I grew up thinking that Tide is THE ONLY detergent to use, and I still use exclusively Original Tide to this day. Here's the thing: I've got horses. Horses are dirty. My clothes are always stained, sweat-soaked, and stinky. My Original Tide does a good job of making them feel and smell clean, but I would love to have a Tide that also makes them LOOK clean. I had very high hopes that this product would be it, and it... sort of does the job. I have noticed, since starting to use it, that my coloured clothes aren't holding stains like they usually do. I can't tell if they're staying bright or not, I've only been using it a few weeks. The problem is that my clothes are no longer SMELLING fresh. I'm not sure why--this Tide smells pretty similar to the Original stuff, is very thick and seems to have substance to it, and, as I said, makes things look clean. But since using it, I've noticed that I often pull a shirt out of the dryer and catch a whiff of laundry that just isn't fresh. I've been re-washing a lot more than usual, which is a bummer. Maybe my water is too hard. Maybe I need to use the maximum quantity of soap with loads of EVERY size. I'm not sure--but I am sure this problem doesn't exist with Original Tide, for whatever reason.

This is my Favorite Laundry Detergent EVER! I have always been a Tide Fan. I have tried many other companies and always come back to tide. This Tide plus Bleach Alternative is the perfect product for my families needs. My husband and I work out a lot, so sweaty clothing can be STINKY, this always gets the smell out in one wash! We have little kids who know how to make messes and I never have to worry about their clothing having stains because this Tide always removes the stains w/out ruining the color/integrity of the clothing. My son still wets his bed and I wash it with tide with bleach and omg you can’t tell he ever peed it smells soo good.

I'm the type of person that doesn't like to shop and normally count on my husband to pick up the laundry detergent. He would always buy cheap brands even though I complained about how they didn't work well. Finally, I've convinced him that Tide is the best. He's currently been splitting our wood for next winter and that is a very dirty job. His jeans are so hard to get clean after a day of cutting. I showed him his jeans washed with the cheap detergent, then I showed him his jeans with the Tide detergent. He was amazed at the difference, and I believe I convinced him that Tide was better. He now brings home Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent. It could either be because he's finally convinced, or I threatened him with the dog house if he brought anything other than the Tide Plus Bleach.

I have used Tide in the past but never Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent. I have always done my whites separate and hated doing it that way. I would always somehow end up with bleach stains on my colored laundry I did after the whites. But I assumed this was the only way to get my whites really white. Boy has this Tide proven me wrong. I was hesitant to put my whites in with my colors but I shouldn't have been. The whites were sparkling and the colors looked amazing. There was no strong bleach smell on my clothes and my son's skin didn't get irritated from the strong chemical bleach residue like it usually does. Overall a terrific product, works well on both colors and whites, no strong odor, feels great on sensitive skin and saves time and money!! This product is what every busy Mom needs in her life - oh and more sleep we all need more sleep, can Tide put that in a bottle???

I love Tide detergent and have used it for years. It gets my clothes super clean and leaves them with a lasting, light, fresh scent. But this product took it to another level for me. Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent does all the amazing things I have come to expect from Tide, but also works to get my whites white again without the fear or smell of traditional bleach. Tide clean and scent, but now for ALL my clothes!

Okay, I tried this product twice before writing this review. I wanted to make sure that it truly lived up to its name and boy did it. I am a busy mom of 2 girls under the age of 4 and the last thing I need is to have to separate my laundry. I tried it the first time with just whites that to be honest were lacking their white luster and I could actually see the difference in my families socks and my husband undershirts. My second attempt was not separating my laundry and throwing them in and my colored clothes were rejoicing. I have to admit I rarely buy tide because it can be pricey, but I am willing to spend the extra and just get my tide plus bleach and no more Clorox 2, so I spend less money and it saves me time which is hard to come by these days. I am super happy that this product lived up to its name. My clothes smelt fantastic and were even a little softer vs my old laundry detergent. I told my sister-in-law about it because she just had her clothes ruined by adding bleach to the laundry. This is a must try and have laundry product that everyone should have. Also, I used a different product for my kids clothes and I tried the Tide with bleach on their clothes and I was super impressed on how their clothes looked. It even got out some tough stains that I thought was a lost cause.

I think this Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent is the best for a busy mommy like me! I try to make sure my whites are the whitest and colors are the brightest, but moments I don’t have time to separate them it seems hard to do. After using this Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent I’m convinced my mixed laundry with keeping the great colors is solved. I definitely see my clothes looking at their best even though they weren’t separated and there isn’t a strong bleach scent. Followed the directions not needing to add more than the cap full and I really appreciate this as a busy mommy. I’m always on the go and having one less worry about keeping my family’s clothes looking like day 1 is key to my laundry routines. I most definitely recommend to my family and friends.

This is great! I used to spill bleach everywhere! With the new Tide with bleach alternative, I can get my whites really bright without the worry of getting bleach spots on my good clothes.

I really like Tide with Bleach Alternative. It's great to be able to use something that is color safe but also whitens whites. The scent could be a little stronger, but all-in-all it's definitely a product I will purchase when looking for a color safe bleach alternative.

As a mom, I’m always looking for ways to simply my household chores, including laundry. Having Tide Plus Bleach alternative has been fantastic as a mom. It helps keep my family’s whites fresh and clean and crisp, while still keeping colors vibrant. As a mom, sometimes laundry is a mixed load - how many cute white shirts or dresses have adorably bright patterns on them? This detergent means I can easily wash my daughter’s dirty laundry without having to do two or three separate loads. Whites stay white and colors stay bright. I love Tide plus bleach. I am always afraid to use regular bleach as I will get it on my colors and completely ruin them. So my whites tend to get a little dingy looking. But when I found tide plus bleach alternative it has been a lifesaver. It won't hurt my colors and my whites look super white! Thanks tied for another great product!

I usually do not purchase Tide because it’s a little out of my price range, but I can see why it’s such a big contender in the detergent world. I really enjoyed this product. It made my clothes feel soft, look bright, and smell so amazing!

I think that this detergent worked great. Had a really fresh, clean smell. I have used other Tide products in the past and this definitely lives up to their standards. Got stains out of clothes without the harsh smell of bleach. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have been looking for a new detergent because I tend to have skin sensitivity to some so I have to be careful what ones I try and the one I have been using just doesn’t smell that great or make a huge difference. This one though smells amazing, you can definitely see the difference between clean and dirty, and it doesn’t irritate my skin! I will definitely be purchasing in the future and recommend!

I was not super impressed with this product. I could take it or leave it. My clothes did not smell or feel super clean after washing. Although I did like it was safe to use with colors.

Quality product. Nice smell, did not have to add additional color safe bleach. Clothes came out bright and clean. A win-win as part of the Tide family.

Tide with Bleach literally gets all stains out! Everything from soccer stains to dog slime (150lb bullmastiff!!) to my sons grease stains!

This detergent has been a huge help for our light colored clothes and articles of clothing with white on them that can’t be bleached. They always get the short end of the stick since they show dirt and stains like all whites. This actually brightened up some of our clothes and it smells great!

It seemed to clean towels, clothing, and sheets just fine. The color of the detergent is a striking blue, and I really do like that! I’m not a huge fan of the smell though. It really isn’t identifiable to me and I would have preferred that it was just fragrance free. It also bubbles a lot in my front loader. Much more than any detergent I’ve tried in there before.

I love this detergent! Besides the fact that it smells so fresh and clean, it actually got purple popsicle out of my daughters brand new shirt. I love how it has a bleach alternative so it is safe on colors. This is all I’ll ever use!

This stuff smells and works really well on whites. I wash only in cold water, so I was skeptical to say the least, but it did a good job getting stains out (my hubs is a painter/carpenter and is ALWAYS getting his white tees dirty). I didn't need to use bleach like usual either. I also liked how thick the detergent was, and it soaped up well. I'd definitely try this again.

Tide plus bleach is definitely our new favorite! With an infant and toddler the stains come strong. Tide plus bleach pulls them right out without me even presoaking! They smell really nice also.

I used Tide most on my towels and underwear but also on gym clothes or when my kids made a mess. All i can say is It Works ! My clothes are clean and fresh. The stains from my kids ... gone ! I definitely gonna stay with Tide bleach.

Initially I was skeptical to use this product. I tried it out on my fathers clothes a couple times then finally tried it with mine. The product works fine. it does not do well with blacks and that is shown in the front of the bottle on the color wheel. I did see difference in colors (pictured below) meaning the colors are more vibrant. Note. it did fade the black on my bag. I still dont know if i would purchase the product.

The scent is awesome I love it it keeps my cloths smelling clean for weeks! Also I am not a fan of separating laundry before washing with this product I don't have to it kept my whites white and my colors bright

At first I didn't think I would really work but after the first used I notice it worked.I used one top cup with one load,after I dry the clothes I really saw the difference it dose a good job at getting rid of stains.Also the smell of the clothes is clean and refreshing

I absolutely love the Tide Original Bleach Alternative. I had a few white T-shirts that had become dingy from washing over time. These shirts had almost been parted with until I tried to give this a try. After one wash I could see the difference and life was brought back into my once vibrant shirts. Kudos to Tide!!! I am planning to go through all my clothes and use this product on my not so lively looking clothes. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!!

It's laundry detergent. I don't notice much difference between brands. My clothes are clean and smell good after using the product. I appreciate that it is concentrated so that I get loads out of smaller packaging.

I tried the Tide plus bleach alternative original scent liquid laundry detergent, after years of using "whatever was on sale" and boy can I tell the difference from the clean fresh scent that lasts throughout the day to the vivid color that endures through multiple washes, this Tide detergent reminded me that you get what you pay for.

I keep wondering if Tide is really worth it until I use it again and then I am reminded that it really is. Now Tide is usually a good product but I really feel the tide plus bleach alternative is the best product they make. I struggle with keeping our clothes bright and not dingy thanks to hard water and children who are very hard on stuff,but this product really stood up to the challenge and I noticed an obvious difference in my clothes after using this product. This product alone is enough to make me brand loyal to Tide.

Tide plus bleach alternate liquid detergent is a fine detergent that will get the job done. I am usually a pod girl (for the perceived easiness), but the liquid detergent was just as easy as tossing a pod into the machine. The main positive to this detergent is the bleach alternative. I am someone who does not often separate my colors due to living on my own and having such small loads each week. It was nice to have a bleach alternative to make my whites brighter while protecting my colors. The main negative is that my clothes don't have a super strong clean smell when they come out of the dryer, like they do when I use the pods.

Tide with Bleach Alternative smells great. The fragrance is not overwhelming. I am not impressed with the stain removing power. My daughter is a stain magnet!! I used Tide with bleach alternative on her grass, dirt, and food stained white and colored clothing following the stain removal tips on the Tide website. I did not see a difference between the regular Tide and the Tide with Bleach Alternative. It took several washes to see a result in stain removal and my whites do not look brighter. I think will continue to use regular tide for my laundry needs.

It was difficult for me to choose of the couple of pictures I took to put with this review. I chose this picture to show how much of a difference that the Tide Bleach Alternative liquid detergent. My shoes had gotten extremely dirty and I didn't know how I would be able to save them and get them back to white. I decided once the Tide came in the mail to try that. That little bit of dirt seen at the bottom is what the entire shoe looked like. I am very excited at the results that the Tide has given me and I am looking forward to using it on all of my laundry. I never believed in bleach alternatives, and although these shoes were white, the fabric is very delicate and bleach would have ruined them.

I recently tried Tide Bleach Alternative Liquid Detergent to wash some clothes that I have been washing in a different brand. I was very pleasantly surprised upon opening the bootleg for the first time. The original fragrance is awesome. I noticed after washing the first load of clothes, they were brighter than they have been. I like having the bleach alternative in the wash to brighten the colors. There was one clothing item in the same wash that came out whiter than it has in my regular detergent. I like not having to add bleach to the wash. After the wash, the clothes smelled fresh and clean. I even returned from a long weekend and pulled a shirt out of my closet and it smelled as fresh as when I first took the clothes out of the dryer. I have now changed laundry detergents so that I can get the same clean that I have been getting after using Tide Bleach Alternative Liquid Detergent for 2 weeks worth of loads. Tide has a new and happy customer in this household.

We used to use bleach, but ruined a bunch of our clothes. Neither my husband or I could get the hang of how to bleach. Now, our normal washing regimine for whites has been vinegar and lemon juice which is ok but doesn't get the dingy all the way out. We did several loads of whites with Tide Plus Bleach Alternative. As you can see, it definately got the clothes whiter than the vinegar, and didn't damage our clothes like bleach! Our clothes also smell better than either of the other methods - lol.

I have always used tide. I have tried other brands and it just doesn't compare. I tried the tide plus bleach and I wasn't disappointed. Even though it says bleach you can still use it on your colored clothes. It also does not smell like bleach it smells like the original scent which smells good and it left my clothes smelling so good. I did 2 different loads with it, a colored load and only whites and honestly it did a wonderful job. I will definitely buy this when it's time to buy more.

I have been scared to use a bleach on colors. I even tried a little dot from Tide Plus Bleach alternative using a q-tip inside dipped in it and applying to a shirt to confirm it was safe. Today I tried Tide Plus Bleach alternative on two loads. The first load appeared to work without “bleaching” any of the colors. However my second load came out with a towel that was bleached in certain areas. I don’t remember seeing any color disfiguring before I started the was but it is now noticeable. I will try one more load to confirm if it was the product or something else.

This worked great for my laundry especially my children who are very active and play rough. They got the clothes clean and had a fresh smell. I will definitely be buying more of this. It was way better than my regular laundry detergent. Id want to know before I got this product is that a little goes a long way. Follow the guides and it will last appropriately.

I love how its an alternative to beach and that it doesn't make the clothes feel scratchy or as if they need another washing like some other products do. The smell lasts for days.

What can I say, I am a mom with two kids under 5, messes are inevitable. I have been looking for a detergent gentle enough for the baby, but with some real cleaning power! This stuff is it, between messy mishaps on onsies, and potty accidents on the sheets, so far this has cleaned it all and left them all smelling delightful!

So far I am loving Tide with Bleach Alternative! It has a great smell and keeps my clothes looking amazing. I am definitely going to recommend this to my friends and my family, especially those with kids; as I think it works a bit better in whitening whites than regular tide, for sure.

I have been using Tide's Bleach Alternative Original Scent Detergent everyday for the past 15 days and I am totally impressed. I have two 8 year old tomboys that get their clothes REALLY dirty and this detergent was gentle enough to get the white parts of their clothes really white and the colorful parts of their clothes brighter. Even the white socks accidentally washed with the color clothes came out bright WHITE! This is definitely the laundry detergent for our family. No more dingy whites and washed out colors for us!

I recently tried the Tide Plus Bleach Alternative and am very impressed! The true test for this detergent was to clean my teenager’s expensive WHITE sneakers. I wanted to try a product that would be effective enough to restore the white, but gentle enough not to ruin them. Tide Plus Bleach Alternative did the trick (and made them smell great!)!! Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent exceeded my expectations. I really love bleach, but have a lot of clothing that has colors and whites so I can't use it. I was skeptical that this product would really make my whites look whiter, but it actually did! I have not used liquid laundry detergent in some time so I am hoping to find this product in the pod form next time I need it, but I will be purchasing this in the future.

I love this product. Most products with bleach have a strong scent, but this doesn't. It smells good! I also love the handle on the bottle and all the markings on the cup. Not to mention, it works great! I love that I don't have to separate my colors and whites. I can throw them all together and start it. It is a very good product that I will definitely buy again.

Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent is really good. I live in an area with hard/not real good water and it made my clothes look a little brighter in one wash. My only issue is that I have dogs with allergies - not sure yet how this will affect them, but I will see as I use it more. Loved what I saw so far!!

Maybe I had my hopes set too high, or I haven’t used it long enough to see any long-term benefit over the brand I’ve used for 20+ years. My kids are mostly grown so I’m not dealing with lots of stains or mishaps with my laundry, so I didn’t get to see this product stand out in any way as a more beneficial detergent. I think it did the same job that any other detergent would do just as well. So, at this point, I’m not a convert as I feel my current detergent does just as well, leaves my laundry smelling better in my opinion, and has a lower price point. Overall, I wasn’t impressed much, which actually surprised me...

I have been using the Tide Plus Bleach Alternative in original scent for about two weeks now & I’m totally impressed. My clothes feel clean & smell great! I’m not going to kid - the phrase bleach alternative made me feel a little nervous, but I have been washing all of our family’s laundry in this detergent & it comes out looking great. I don’t feel like there is detergent left on the clothes or any type of “film” like some other products I’ve used. The laundry comes out nice and clean feeling & smelling. The original scent is great - not over powering or “sweet” smelling. FYI: I have a high efficiency top load washer & always wash in cold water & hang our clothes to dry. A little goes a long way with this laundry detergent.

I absolutely like this product. My towels no longer have that smell after a few days. My clothes definitely feel cleaner and smell absolutely amazing.

I buy Tide all the time, but this is my first time using the Tide with Bleach. I would just add bleach to my wash and sometimes it would leave bleach spots on my linens or faded the color. After using Tide w bleach I find it awesome! It has my colored linens looking bright and brilliant.

I used this in all my clothes and towels and sheets... the whites came out bright my colors did not fade and they smelled fresh and clean the scent is not overwhelming and I had no issues with my sensitive skin either. I would buy this again.

I always use the tide with bleach powder.I love the liquid tide now,it has little scent,I hate scents on my washed clothes.It does give my clothes a brighter color.When I used the powder Tide sometimes the powder didn’t dissolve. This product will be one of my best laundry soap.

I really enjoyed this product. I typically do not use bleach just because I don’t like the smell it leaves on clothes but I usually suffer the consequences of having to use a separate product to soak clothes in to remove stains prior to washing. This allowed me to do everything at once and removed all stains except one. To be fair that stain was grease and it has to be removed by something other than a detergent.

I've just recently started doing my own laundry since I moved to college and I'm not particularly picky about my laundry products, nor do I bleach very often, so getting a bleach alternative was interesting. I have hyperhidrosis so I have to avoid certain colors, as well as being a super messy eater, and with whites I get stains and blacks or darker colors I get what look like deodorant stains and this product has helped my clothes look brand new again and doesn't damage any of my clothes or colored clothes which is amazing. I'm a very big fan of this product!

I was a fan of the original Tide detergent, and the sports Tide, but the Bleach Alternative takes it to another level. This product leaves behind the great clean Tide smell that you know, but works better to whiten clothes. It's even color safe! I used it on my towels and dish towels that are white with a colored stripe, and they came out so clean and smelling great!

Tide is a trusted brand in my house. It has been my go to brand for years. This Bleach Alternative has changed the laundry game. With 2 boys in the house we have loads of dirty clothes that need a stain removing product. Tide to the rescue!

I love the Tide Bleach Alternative! My husband works outside and gets his clothes filthy and smelly. I wanted to try a different detergent for HIS clothes, especially. This stuff cleans them very well and makes them smell so much better. It's also helped brigthen our white laundry. We have an HE washer, and is safe to use in it. Would recommended for all types of laundry.

This brand is my go to laundry detergent but I've never tried Tide with bleach alternative until yesterday ... It's an awesome product it didn't fade my dark colors which was a concern. It left my lights very bright and my whites were whiter than ever awesome product and i will be using it from this day forward.

This product smell very clean and refreshing. It seems to clean my clothes very well. I haven't noticed any brightening of my clothes but maybe it take a couple washes for that. It's easy to use just pour into cup and dispense in washer. The color of the cap might make it a bit hard for so to read the number for measurement.

When I received the product I couldn’t wait to try it. I usually use Tide and I am relatively satisfied with the product, so I was sure with the addition of bleach I was going to love it. Unfortunately, I really didn’t see that much of a difference in the brightness of my whites. Some stains that usually come out dingy were slightly brighter (such as socks and undergarments), but overall, this definitely wasn’t worth my ripping the box and running to the washing machine. I would probably purchase this again as I am already a Tide user, and I feel like the bleach adds an extra level of antibacterial cleaning, but I feel like it should have performed better. It certainly didn’t make me joyfully fold my laundry with a huge satisfied smile on my face, if I were an emoji, I would be somewhere between Meh and Smile.

This Tide Bleach Alternative detergent did an excellent job brightening a dog bed that had discolored some and also did a good job protecting the colored clothes washed with it. It also left items smelling really fresh and clean with the notable Tide smell.

I used the Tide Bleach Alternative liquid on three loads of laundry so far and am so happy with the results. Clothes are coming out clean, whites look brighter, colors are still vivid and all smell nice and fresh. I don't have to use a lot to get the results I need so the entire bottle will last awhile. This has more of a laundry detergent feel than bleach, so it has none of the harsh smell other products have. The blue liquid flows out easily and the cap measures so you know how much you need. Overall, will buy again!

I think that Tide is the very best laundry detergent on the market! You know the scent is unmistakable!! This weekend while washing clothes, my husband left a marker in his pocket and I washed it... along with my favorite shorts! There was blue marker all over his pants and my shorts! I put an extra dab of Tide with bleach on the stain and washed again. The marker stain came right out! I am a long time lover of Tide and can't say enough good things about the brand! If it's clean, it's got to be Tide!

I love this! My daughter has some bright colored clothes but my old detergent would dull the colors, once I used this BAM! They are bright and very clean! I also love how fresh my clothes smell using this! One of my favorites for sure!

Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Liquid works well for minimal stains/dirt but is not as powerful as I had hoped. I will continue to stick with regular bleach for whites but this is a great alternative for colors! It did not fade/damage my color-mixed white shirts at all. I would definitely recommend for minimal stains or as a regular everyday detergent.

Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Liquid has a fresh clean scent that is light, not overpowering. It didn't work miracles on refreshing my already dingy whites and colors after only one wash, but it may be better at maintenance and over a prolonged period.

When I first read the title on the tide bottle I thought it was bleach, then I read it again and thought ooh let me try and used this and was very excited. Loaded the liquid soap into the washer and when cycle done I couldn’t believe how clean my clothes smells, almost like neutral, And when I sweat onto the clothes it doesn’t smell like wet dog. So I think I am going to be purchasing this laundry detergent from now on because others detergents seems to get my clothes clean smelling out of the washer but after I sweat onto it, it smells like I didn’t wash my clothes.

I think this detergent is great. It smells very clean not allot if perfume. My son had a pair if pants he got muddy. I used the tide and the stains and mud came right out. I also washed a load of whites with it. They seemed much brighter. I don't like to use bleach in my laundry. This is a great alternative. The clothes even feel softer and fluffier.

I have always used powder detergent but Tide Plus Bleach Alternative Liquid has changed that! Plus no more bleach! It has everything I need in one container! And it works so good! I definitely recommend you give it a try!

The detergent does uphold its claim that it is safe on colors (did not see any running) and I did notice my towels felt softer after its use; however I did not see a difference in my whites and therefore would probably not use it as a "Bleach Alternative" its intended purpose

I really liked how well the Tide with bleach worked. It even got ground in dirt out of my son's baseball pants. The smell was a little strong for me but wouldn't keep me from buying it.

I was a bit scared when it said it had a bleach alternative but that it was safe for colored clothes and it honestly didn’t mess up my clothes which makes it even better in my eyes. I would definitely buy this again!

I tried this as a pretreatment and in the wash I am very pleased with the results the scent is wonderful too will definitely be adding this to my shopping list :)

WOW!! Not only did my whites look whiter, but my colored clothes seem brighter to me. I was getting dressed for work this morning, and I could not stop smelling my blouse!! The scent is wonderful!

I never use detergents that are bleach or even alternatives make me very nervous. I decided to give this a try on an old comforter. It brightened it up and didn’t discolor It at All. I then used it on all my towels. I am excited to add this to my laundry room supply.

I tend to use whatever detergent is on sale or if I have coupons. This time around I thought I would try Tide to see what all the fuss is about. I stopped using bleach on my whites as it tends to ruin the material quicker, so I chose a bleach alternative to see if it would make a difference. It does! My darks seem brighter and my whites look better than if I used bleach! I definitely recommend this product! Tide also has a distinct smell that I love! A+

Before trying Tide with Bleach Alternative, I had been using Tide Free and Gentle, liquid fabric softener and bleach for whites and tough jobs (but not every load). For this trial, I used just the Tide with Bleach Alternative and dryer sheets. I love the scent of the product, and was pleasantly surprised with its effect on my whites AND my colors (especially blankets and other bedding). There isn't a harsh bleach smell or the concern of a bleach splash or residual droplets ruining an item. My biggest test for this product was our fabric shower curtain liner. With heavy shower and bath traffic from dogs and boys and guests, gross soap scum accumulates and I wash the liner every two weeks. Typically, I use my normal detergent, a cup of bleach and very hot water. For this trial, I only used Tide with Bleach Alternative and very hot water. The top picture is the finished result. I was pleased! I will definitely use this again!

I tried the new Tide on some of my most troublesome articles of clothing, a white shirt that had greeted over time and my favorite red sweater. I have to say the (grey) white shirt is noticeably whiter, in fact I have tried many products including bleach and Borox, and non managed to help. One wash, with no special prep and it’s white again. My bright red sweater was the test to see if it would fade the colors, and found it as bright after washing as it was before!!
