Rough as a cobb!!!
I am a lifelong customer of the Tide powder, original scent, detergent. I learned it from my mother, two generations spanning over 75 years! Yes, I have dabbled with liquids, other brands, etc...to compare but always came back to the original Tide powder formula without the add-ins such as softeners and bleaches. But my latest purchase of this Tide Ultra Oxi product shocked me! After only 1 use, I immediately saw and felt the abuse the clothes had taken. Brand new items looked old, like they had been washed 100 times and beaten with rocks. Cotten fabric looked faded and felt rough as a cobb! I immediately searched online for an alternative and I hope that the original formula I found, is not in the process of being discontinued. Why is the original formula not available in the big box stores anymore and hard to find? I value my clothing and I cannot not let an improvised detergent subtract from the normal lifespan of a garment. Not happy, Tide.

BEST laundry detergent EVER but pricey
I cannot express my gratitude and thankfulness for this product. I get a lot of stains on my white wash rags for the bathroom from shower gel and what have you, and this is the only detergent that will remove those dye stains plus any stain imaginable. I’ve never used a detergent that does that. The only thing I don’t like is the shrinkflation, you’re paying way more money for a smaller box. I have the 143oz box and it was 25$, way too expensive but man it gets the job done and I have the cleanest clothes in town! I’ve used the oxi boost pods and those don’t remove stains very well for some reason. This works perfect in my 26 year old Kenmore washer! I always wash in warm and rinse in warm.

Best powder detergent I’ve ever used
This oxi Tide powder detergent is amazing. It works great to soak stained clothing in as well. This is probably the best laundry detergent I have ever used as well as the Tide ultra oxi liquid version of this.
