Tide Ultra OXI Powder Laundry Detergent

I have tried many brands over the years and I keep coming back to Tide. I’ve tried the Kirkland knockoffs and they just don’t do as well. I used to use oxi clean

The detergent performed well, and I appreciated the powder format. However, the smell was so strong it was making me cough and gag while putting away my cleaned laundry, and this was after extra vinegar and water rinses! I'm not prone to allergies etc either, but this was overwhelming and won't buy it again solely because of the smell.

I grew up using Tide powder, but like many people, switched to liquid and tried a wide variety of detergents along the way. About a year ago, I decided that I no longer wanted to generate the amount of plastic waste associated with liquid. I switched to Tide powdered. The cardboard box is better for the environment and the detergent more concentrated so there is less to carry home. I really like the new Oxi. It seems to work well and I don’t think it smells bad. I sure hope Costco continues to carry it !

I've been a Tide powder fan for well over 20 years and this is the worst version I've ever used. The smell is overpowering and even after a heavy-soil wash cycle, the clothes still have a strong scent to them. It makes me wonder how much residue the detergent is actually leaving on the clothes. We immediately stopped using it and are now searching for a new brand. To anyone with sensitivity to strong scents/smells, keep your windows open if you end up using this version! @Tide, please dial down on the scent. Your team added too much.

I have used Tide for well over 20 years and never had any issues until now. Costco only sells the Tide powder with Oxyclean. I started to notice on my clothes that the soap was not rinsing off some of the items. When I would see that I would rewash the item and found that after they were washed again I had bleach spot on the clothes. I don't use bleach so I know it wasn't leftover bleach splashing onto my clothes. After having 5 sweatshirts, 4 t-shirts and 8 pairs of black pants getting bleach spots (ruining them). I finally gave up on the detergent. I was able to find and buy a much smaller box of Tide Original online for the same cost as the huge box I got at Costco and have not had an issue since.

It seems to get things clean without adding any other products. I buy it at Costco so I only have to buy it once or twice a year. Nothing works better.

Just moved to a home with a septic system. Is Tide Ultra Oxi septic safe?

I am a big fan of classic Tide powdered detergent. I buy the 100 load boxes at Costco. The last two times I was there Costco only had this Is OXY Tide. I can't stand the smell of OXY, it's so overpowering. Also, I use powdered Tide throughout my house to clean floors, cabinets, walls.

I absolutely LOVE this powder detergent it is by far the BEST! It's the ONLY detergent I don't need to add anything to it, it already removes stains,cleans perfectly and best of all it smells AMAZING! I don't need to add ANY softener it's just the best of the best... BUT it unfortunately doesn't come in anything but a small 35 load box and isn't worth the money for that size. This is such ashame and honestly makes me sooo angry! I've looked for YEARS and have tried EVERY brand soap combo and have NEVER found anything I was set and satisfied on until Powdered Tide w/Oxi and now I can't even use it PLEASE OFFER THIS IN A LARGER SIZE BOX PLEASE! I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE

Works wonders on our heavy soiled work clothes! Feels clean! Love the scent! Downfall is the size container is limited to only 35 loads when purchasing powder. There should be a bigger size to purchase for us people that prefer powder detergent!!!! Especially when powder detergent is hardly in stock on store shelves!

Love this product! The scent is clean and not overwhelming! It also doesn't leave clumpy powder residue left In your clothes after the load has been run through its cycle

I recently tried this newer iteration of a trusted favorite and it performed very well. The only drawback that I could detect is the repugnant fragrance.

Best tide product by far. Hard to find. Dollar general is the only place I have found this. Wish I had coupons little pricey but still buy it

This product is amazing I love all tide products but the oxi powder is what I love the most
