Joining forces to drive next impactful eco-habit: washing in cold

Tide and WWF have an answer for the 3 in 4 Americans who say they are looking for more ways to save energy in their daily lives*: “wash your laundry in cold water.” The cumulative impact of turning to cold is so significant for our planet that Tide and WWF are teaming up to study sustainable behavior change in the laundry room and make cold wash the next broadly adopted energy-saving eco-habit. Join us and #TurnToCold!

Joining forces

Starting a #TurntoCold Movement

We’ve engaged some of the most iconic, influential brands and organizations in America to help spread the word about cold water washing.  And we're only just getting started.

NFL

In partnership with NFL, we partnered with 16 NFL teams to wash 1 million pounds of NFL laundry a year to cold, while inspiring 80 million households of NFL fans to join the cold movement during the ‘21-‘22 football season.

Hanes

We collaborated with Hanes, the leading basic apparel brand in the United States, to host a “wash in cold” call-to-action on Hanes packaging along with Tide POD samples and coupons.

Tide x WWF

Together with World Wildlife Fund (WWF), we're collaborating to make washing in cold the next energy-saving eco-habit as ubiquitous as turning off the lights when not in use.

Take the pledge

Let’s #TurnToCold together!
