I realize that studio has been discontinued but be honest and tell consumers why. Great product even considering price

I will admit that I too miss this detergent. It works great and it smells great. You couldn't have asked for a better cleaning agent for dark clothes. But there's lies the problem. We've been asking for 2 years and Tide hasn't responded at all. We continue to beg to a company that could bring it back if they want to. Instead they rather watch their loyal customers beg while their products continue to become mediocre at best. Yes the smell is nice but you could buy The Laundress which does a fantastic job on dark clothes. As far as the smell, purchase Dedcool detergent and mix. Once you smell Dedcool especially the Ouai version you'll forget all about Tide. Remember: The Laundress and Dedcool.

I need this for my work uniforms. I can find it anywhere.

Where is the Dark Tide. Thee best Laundry soap by far, and finally came out with a DARK. Woolite stinks and Cheer dark/colors is not that great at doing what it claims. I want clean, no perfume would be nice, but for Tide I will totally tolerate. I need that dark care with the clean in the cold water. Those front loaders suck and I know I can count on Tide to pick up that slack. Right everybody? Bring it back bring it back bring it back!

It was fantastic. I rubbed it all over my body and went slip and sliding down my street. Oh it was fantastic.

Can someone please give us, "the Public" a real truthful answer as to why this particular Amazing product has been taking off the shelves in Stores and/or discontinued? And prices from other retailers, I won't name names, but starts with a "A", are obscenely overpriced. I have struggled with laundry detergent and sensitive skin my whole life. I FINALLY found something that doesn’t irritate my skin, AND THE SMELL IS AMAZING! Luckily I had bought the last 6 bottles Walmart had, but now I cannot find them anywhere! How on earth can i get more?? Do you have any left in a warehouse somewhere???

I found out mid last year that they have discontinue this product, when I talked to customer service, one of the reason given was “low usage” and that corporate just decide to “discontinue it”- which doesn’t make sense at all. W/ all this positive review 5/5 and pleas to bring it back, why is it that nobody is listening??? These are your customers talking!! Do we have to picket in front of the corporate office to get attention? I’m glad I bought several bottles before it was completely gone, but now I’m down to 1, don’t know if I could find a satisfactory replacement. Amazon is selling them for $30.00 or more a bottle- I’m not that desperate to pay that crazy price though.

I guess I will have to go back to washing every item I own in Woolite Dark. Why on earth did you discontinue this?! Some of us literally only wear black.

I have been a faithful user of tide for over 28 years. I buy tide with bleach for my whites and towels. I used tide free for my son who has sensitive skin and used tide studio for darks and the clear kind too for my delicates and now you have stopped making it. Please, please bring this one back. This has been the best product for dark clothes. I LOVE it! I was starting to get low so when I was at Target I had it on my list to purchase but couldn’t find it. Turns out it’s been discontinued? Seriously Tide. I’ve been a Tide user my entire life. My grandmother used Tide. My mom used Tide. I use Tide. I’ll still use other versions of Tide but this one was my favorite and I can’t believe we have to use other brands.

This was the only detergent I used for darks and colors for YEARS! I loved the scent, loved the performance, but after awhile I was only able to purchase it from Target(I would buy 2 at a time). I am not sure who's grand idea was it to discontinue this phenomenal product. But please bring this product back.. I will do pay double for it. This product is, or shall I say, was wonderful. My family wears dark colors the majority of the time and this kept our clothes dark. It prevented fading and was great. Why was it discontinued? I wish you would bring it back. Please?

I always wash my “going out” clothes in cool water on delicate. I also always hang dry them afterwards. This detergent completely cleanses my clothes despite the gentle washing I prefer. I absolutely love the scent. I hope this never gets discontinued. My clothes look and smell SOOOOOO good. I wear a lot of black and this detergent is essential in keeping them looking new. I wish it wasn’t so hard to find.

I used this on a load of black clothes and it really made a difference in the color. Unfortunately, it also made all the clothes smell like really cheap strong perfume, so I hesitate to wear them. I normally use fragrance-free Tide, which I love. I've been airing out my washed black clothes for 3 days so far and the smell is starting to dissipate. (although the whole room they're in now smells like cheap perfume.) I expect I'll be able to wear them in a few more days. I wish they would do something about the smell because otherwise, it's a great product.

Smells awful. Really. Our entire laundry area has funk of a scent from one useage.

I use this detergent in every load of colors and darks and it works incredibly well at brightening colors, preventing fading, and cleaning. I wouldn't say it's superb at preventing pilling, as most of my cotton shirts are still pilled where by backpack rubs my lower back. In terms of cleaning, I usually mix this detergent with Tide Ultra Stain Release or Oxi-Clean powder depending on the load, and it yields excellent results.

Tide Studio for Darks and Colors is a very good detergent for keeping colored pants, shirts, and other items from losing their vivid colors. When this product first launched around 2020, the scent was horribly strong. I called Tide and gave that feedback, and subsequent bottles purchased seemed to have slightly milder scent, but the same crisp smell. Like another reviewer mentioned, this is not for cleaning muddy jeans or grimy work clothes, it is meant for maintaining the dark colors on dress shirts, polo shirts, jeans, and other colored items. I have had positive feedback on how nice my clothes smell once they are finished in the dryer, or when wearing them. I don't mind paying the same price for this 75oz bottle as for the regular 92oz bottle if I continue saving my favorite items from having their colors faded out and becoming dull. I still use regular Tide with Mountain Spring scent for deeper cleaning, whites, gym clothes, and bedding, but this Studio for Darks and Colors delivers solid results for its intended purpose. I just hope Tide continues making it, since Tide ColorGuard, which was my original favorite, was discontinued after having been changed more than 3 times. Keep making this product Tide!

My husband works in an aluminum mill and he comes home a mess! However since this little gem came into my life his clothes really come out GREASE FREE! And may I had it actually cleans out your washer!! Thank you Tide!

I love this Tide. I read remarks on my local Target page and can not believe what was said. If blue is rubbing off on your legs, it's your Jeans, not this detergent. I had a pair that took months of wearing and washing to get the dark blue dye out. Don't think for a minute this Tide is going to clean dirty outdoor jeans. It's for your nice dark clothing. I still use regular tide for my husband's work/outdoor jeans. The odor is wonderful. Now, I've been using this Tide for months and I can't find it anymore. Why? I bought several bottles at Wal Mart and they show nothing on their inventory. I can't find it on Amazon. PLEASE don't take it off the market.

Hi I’m aarieal and I want cleaning supplies for free.

This detergent works really well with all my family's dark and brightly colored laundry items, keeping colors from getting dull/faded. I've noticed our jeans, especially, fade less. The scent may seem heavy and perfume-like when taking an initial, close-nosed whiff straight from the bottle. However, my finished laundry is left with a light, "clean" scent after using this product. I say this as somebody who often uses scent-free products due to a personal dislike of heavy scents (I'm wondering if some people complaining of the scent aren't using too much [and/or not rinsing properly], or simply judging the smell straight from the open bottle). It works great even in my HE machine's cold cycle and is reasonably priced, which is always a plus. .

Great detergent. I feel like it actually works. And I feel like my clothes feel “cleaner” when I use this detergent. Would buy again! But I wish the price was more affordable.

I recently switched over to this because of the smell and oh my ! I’m constantly being told I smell good and it cleans my clothes really well so this is totally a good detergent if you’re looking for a new one.

The product seems to be good, but I don't understand what amount to use. The instructions give 3 dosages: Medium Loads, Large Loads, and hE Full Loads. What's the difference between hE Full and Large?

Studio by Tide Darks & Colors is a great addition to the tide product line! It has the familiar tide smell that my family loves, and I haven't noticed any of my colors or darks fading since using. They come out looking bright as they should! I will be keeping this in my laundry routine!

Not only doss this Tide smell fantastic it works great at keeping my demin in great shape. I love the deep indigo of demin and sometimes other detergents seem to make my demin fade. Some demin I dont mind fading if they are a bit on the brighter side, but sometimes I rather it not fade and keep that crisp color. I do love the fact that its a cold water detergent so as to not shrink and saves on my hot water for other things and eliminates odors even in cold water. Left my jeans with a pleasant scent rhat lasted thru a few wears.

The new Tide Studio Darks + Colors detergent works great. It has kept my clothes looking fresh and bright. Normally my husbands black shirts start looking fades after a few washes because he sweats a lot and the detergent doesn’t help. I’ve been using it on our jeans and cotton shirts and couldn’t be happier with the results. Will continue to purchase for all our dark and colored clothes.

Let me start off by saying i love Tide . With kids in sports toddlers always playing it’s the only brand i trust to removed those tough stains . New Tide studio colors is great to keep colors bright and prevent fading . Small amount and it still removed all the stains while keeping clothes bright and colorful . It smells like classic tide which is my favorite . One of the recent loads i spaced out well with having two toddlers and didn’t add fabric softner but my clothes still came out smelling fresh and soft !

So I hate that after buying bath towels that they look so dull and blah so quickly after a few washes. So when I tell you this stuff is legit then I truly mean it! No joke works soooooo well. I will def buy over and over again.

I have been using Tide for as ong as I can remember, and my parents did too. This Studio by Tide Darks & Colors, however, tops the charts! My clothes look amazing! It is great on clothes for the entire family, even my husbands work clothes! A little goes a long way, too!! I am super impressed!

I love wearing black. I'm a busy mom of 3 boys and I feel like black is just an easy, classy choice to throw on and look chic, even if your in yoga pants. So I own a lot of black clothing. I'm hard on my clothes. I'm outside. I'm rough housing. I cook. And I wash a lot of laundry. I always felt like my dark clothes started looking worn and dingy a lot soon then my other clothes, but since I started using this its like my clothes are new looking still. No faded black. No dingy and dull colors here. My dark clothes look new even after repeated washing. Plus it smells really good as well.

The laundry detergent worked great at keeping my colors bright and vibrant even after 10+ washes. My old detergent would leave the clothes looking dull and faded by that time. Great product, works great.

I am honestly so shocked at how great this product worked out for me! At first I couldn’t tell a single difference in my dark clothes. Then after the third laundry wash my husbands pants looked brand new! I had even asked him if he had bought some new black pants. I definitely recommend this product not only to protect your more colored clothes, but to revive the faded ones!

I love Tide Darks & Colors detergent. It keeps my scrubs looking fresh and new like the day I bought them. It also leaves them smelling amazing!!! I only use Tide detergent because I know how great is cleans my clothes and how amazing it keeps their appearance.

This works great for my work wear. My clothes don't wear as quickly with this detergent in combination with the delicate cycle. Stains come out easily without. Pretreatment in most cases. The smell is a little strong though. I still recommend.

My husband & I have countless band tees, some almost 20 years old! Majority of them are black and as great as black looks it sadly fades very easily & quickly. Since we started using tide studio darks not a single tee has faded, the older ones even look more fresh! The scent is wonderful as well. We won't be using anything else for our darks, highly recommend!

I always separate whites and colored clothes. And would use special one for whites but regular detergent for colored. This is first time I used studio by tide for dark and colored detergent. I can’t believe the difference it made. Clothes definitely looked fresh and brighter. A new addition to my laundry room

I was in need of a good laundry detergent because I had just run out, which we all know isnt a good thing. Im a tide lover so of course i start there when looking for a replacement, I then saw this one! It caught my eye the bottle being blue and fancy like. I picked it up and read it, I was a little worried about trying a new one but i couldnt help but try it. After the first use I was immediately hooked! My leggings looked great, and so did my other colored clothes. They felt soft, smelled good(being pregnant my nose is extremely sensitive) they even looked the exact same way as they did before the wash! Yes! Even my black leggings, Im still shocked after every use.

Love this brand and they keep improving all the time. I had never heard if this formula and was excited to try it. The scent and way it made clothes look and feel when washed is great. Scent lasted so clothes felt and smelled fresh. Great product.

Tide is already known as being a leading detergent in getting clothes clean and fresh but they have been known to have such powerful cleaning characteristics that it can fade darker clothes. That is why when I saw this new formula, Studio Dark & Colors, I got super excited! I already used this on multiple loads of dark wash clothes and haven't seen any noticeable fading, yay, and the smell is fresh and clean. I'm very excited to add this to our family of Tide products we use already!

I like that this laundry detergents has helped my dark/color clothes it’s color. I feel like the colors are more vibrant when using this detergent. I also like that the smell is strong enough for me to put the clothes in the dryer - WITHOUT dryer sheets and it comes smelling very good! I haven’t tried mixing colors/dark clothes with white and using this detergent... just to be on the safe side, I follow the recommendations.

Black is the go to color in my home for clothes, so tide darks and colors is the beat soap for them. The packaging lets stands out so doesn't get confused with regular formula when my boys do their laundry. The sent is very nice and last long after wash day I love that all the suggested soap amounts and load sizes are printed right on the bottle as well. I have had nothing but good experiences using tide dark and no fading or color bleeding. I would totally recommend tide dark and colors to others.

Tide never seems to disappoint me in my laundry needs and this is right up my alley. I have a large family of five and are all active. Hubby works in construction and comes home covered in dirt. Kids are in Tae Kwon Do and the youngest is two and finds new creative ways to stain clothes. Studio by Tide Darks and Colors not only did a great job cleaning all of our clothes it kept my whites white, the hubby's high-vis clothes bright and easy to see and my darks like new. I know what has been added to my laundry lineup from now on. Thanks, Tide!

I have been using Studio by tides darks and colors for a month in my HE machine. I only need to use a small amount of detergent in my wash and I am pleased by the results. My new clothing is staying dark and keeping the rich tones that they should. Ilove the smell and my clothing comes out fresh and clean. I will definetly be keeping Stuio by Tide darks and colors in my aray of laundry products.

Bought this for our dark color clothes and I really liked it. I'm always very picky with what detergent I use because i hate when colors start to fade. So far all loads of laundry I've done the colors have preserved beautifully.

My main purpose for this detergent was to use on jeans and dark colored clothing. The detergent does deliver; it is gentle on fabrics and keeps clothes from premature fading and wear from washing all while providing a good cleaning. My jeans of every shade look nice and new after washing. I also have used this on dark color clothes, including workout garments and I am impressed. The garments are clean, look great, the fabric isn’t pilled or worn and the colors look bright. I like that this is a liquid detergent and this detergent doesn’t have to be over used to get clothes deep cleaned. It has a nice easy pour measuring cap and a great fragrance. When I see a faded garment that I liked but no longer wear, I think to myself I wish I had this detergent sooner.

My Review for Studio by Tide Darks & Colors. I have never used this before. I am impressed at how good my clothes look. Not faded or dingy. I also really like the scent. I recommend this to anyone whom wants there clothes to stay perfect in color and smell great.

I’m so excited that there is a product that can not only preserve my colored/dark clothing but provide a very clean scent as well. A little goes a long way but I am very impressed with the cleaning power this product has had on my husbands work clothes. Towels are vibrant as well. More so than before.

I got this cause I wear a lot of dark colors, I’ve been washing my jeans wit this and it help keep bark color. My shirts look great staying black and not turning grey. I definitely will recommend this to anyone who wants a lot dark colors.

After using this full container of Studio by Tide Darks & Colors, I am amazing by how fresh my clothes smell. I enjoy it is made for darks and colors. I feel it to makes the frabic last longer. The cap is large I wouldnt fill the cap up.

My husband works at a lumber yard and needless to say his clothes get dirty quick. This detergent keeps his clothes fresh and removes all dirt and grime from his clothing, while keeping the blacks black and the colors vibrant. I've washed one of his mainly used work shirts about 6 times and it hasnt become a light black or dark gray color, its stayed pure black and that is a big bonus, because no one wants their black shirts turning grays. Works great just as I'd expect a Tide brand detergent to do. Refreshing scent that lasts a few days after washing.

I got this detergent and really put it to the test. I gathered my kids nastiest, most stained clothing I could find. Thos detergent amazed me by removing all those gross stains, even the ones I never though would come out after washing and drying several times. Great scents that isn't too strong but still smells great after drying. Doest stain clothes if poured directly onto.

I love tide products. All of them have been amazing to our family. I recently seen the studio by tired for darks and colors. Just like every other tide product it is by far the best detergent you can use. It smells amazing and really seems to keep our darks dark!

I love this detergent, it made my jeans come out clean and no fading. The scent is a wonderful fresh clean smell.All the colors looked sharp and fresh, I highly recommend it for your dark and colors.

The Studio by Tide Darks and Colors is such an amazing product and detergent for my clothes! It left my dark winter sweaters looking refreshed and like new when I washed them to put away for the season. A nice, gentle scent left behind. This detergent has no paraben-, phthalate-, or phosphate- which is essentially what could weigh down clothes and leave them faded overtime. I will be using this product to refresh more clothes that need to look great! I recommend this to anyone who needs a closet refresher!

I am so happy I have bought this ride studio colors. I love the effectiveness of releasing the first, smells, and oils out of my clothing. It fights against stretching and works to restore my clothing back to their original state without fading. I love the clear cap! I can actually see the measurements .

The Tide Studio by Tide Darks & Colors was amazing. I love how I can use on both my dark colored clothing and my light colored clothing. Usually, when I use certain laundry detergent my skin gets very sensitive but with Tide I had no problems! Made my clothes smell very fresh and very soft. I loved using this product!

I usually buy a different brand of laundry soap but I will absolutely be buying more of this studio by tide. My husband got new black work pants after his others were faded by another brand after only two washes! I was so excited to try this laundry soap and see if it lived up to it’s no fade statement. Let me tell you...it does! I have now washed darks with this laundry soap a few times and they look brand new! The black didn’t fade! I have also used it on colors and they seem more vibrant and not dull. The scent is fresh, clean and pleasant. I like the cap and how it has different bar levels as a fill line, it makes it easy to make sure you’re using the correct amount. The clothes also feel really soft. No fade, smells good and soft?! I love this laundry soap!

Finally something works as it says. This detergent is a life saver. I gave always had hard time trying to keep colorful clothes and denims in a good shape. No matter what i do when i wash them, they always look dull and lose their brightness. This detergent really works . It is phosphate, phthalates and paraben free and that is the reason it does not affect the color of the clothes. It cleans really well . From now I can wash my favorite clothes with no worries.

I gravitated towards this detergent since it is specifically designed to maintain the color of your clothes. I used this detergent multiple times over the past week and am very happy with the result. The detergent has a very pleasant smell and my clothes were bright and clean after each wash. I am also very impressed with the product packaging. The cap is easy to remove and has two spots where the user can place there fingers to easily open the container. The cap also has markings inside that indicate the amount of detergent that should be used based on the size of the load of laundry. All in all i was very happy with this detergent and the product packaging.

I washed my first load of dark colored clothes with Studio by Tide Darks & Colors and I was really impressed. The new black jeans I was hesitant to wash without them fading came out just as dark as when they went in. I would absolutely love to use this new Tide for all my dark and colorful loads to prevent fading. The fragrance was fresh and close to traditional Tide that I’m used to. This bottle was 75 fl. oz. and enough to do 48 loads. It worked with my HE washer. One capful was enough to do an extra large load. After checking mod-wash, and it was sudsy and rinsed clean at the end of the cycle. My clothes weren’t faded, stains were gone, and my clothes smelled fresh and amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone who wear dark and/or colorful clothing and has problems with fading with other laundry detergents.

I've been using Tide detergent for years. It's a brand I trust and it a a detergent that does it's job. I really like the new Studio by Tide Dark and Colors. I have 3 kids and a husband that works in the constructions business. So I do a lot of laundry every week and I have to deal with a variety of stains. I was impressed by how well this detergent washed the clothes. Has a very pleasant smell and it really works.

I got the tide about a week or so ago and it works great on my family clothes.Your clothes are left smelling fresh all day.It gets all the dirt out of the clothes and does not leave your clothes looking it colorless and dull.I will be getting another bottle once this bottle is empty.

This is the first laundry soap I've ever used specifically for colored and dark colored clothes. It works well. Everything comes out looking like new. Not faded. The colors dont bleed on to the other items in the load. It also smells amazing and gets everything very clean!

I really enjoyed the scent of this particular soap. It lingers in your clothes even after being dried. We have well water where we live and it has the tendency to dull darker clothes pretty fast. I have only been using this on our jeans and really dark colors and I haven’t been disappointed!

I really enjoy the scent of this detergent. My clothes came out smelling fresh and clean, even after being in the closet for a few days. Seems to clean my dark clothes well without fading them out. It can be used in cold water which is a plus since I was all my clothes this way.

Tide is my go to detergent. Black is my favorite color, so when I seen Tide had a detergent for darks. I knew I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed. Great smell, bottle design and most importantly it got my clothes nice and clean

The Studio by Tide Darks & Colors laundry detergent is really a great laundry detergent to keep my clothes looking newer longer because it helps prevent fading, fiber damage and appearance loss over time. As a busy mom with messy kids it’s great to have a detergent that is tough on stains but gentle on fabrics. I love the fresh and clean scent of this detergent. It is really fresh but not too overpowering. This detergent keeps your laundry clean, stain free and smelling fresh and makes your clothes look great too. With three kids I have to wash their clothes many times but the colors stay like new. I really recommend this detergent.

The only reason I gave this product a 3 instead of a 5 was due to the scent. I usually use free and clear or sensitive skin products which have almost no scent so I was taken back a little with this product. I did not really notice much of a difference between this product or any of my other laundry detergents.

I feel pretty good about using the tide darks and colors detergent. It seems to clean these clothing items well and keep the color in the clothes rather than fading out. The scent is pleasant as well and works good in my opinion. I would recommend it’s use.

I always notice my dark colors start fading so quickly, so i tried this detergent. First of all the smell is wonderful, a great clean fresh smell. I already notice, after the first wash that the black socks had a better color to them I am very excited to continue using it.

this was my first time trying this studio by tide line, and I am very very pleased. The smell is great and one cap is enough for one load ! I only tried this detergent on my dark clothes and denims but for the first time in a long time my denims and blacks did not fade . I usually just buy a cheap off brand detergent but after trying this tide I will splurge and get the real deal next time

I got this a couple weeks ago, and I'm really glad I gave it a try! I wash all my colors and darks together in cold water, and this detergent is just what I needed. I've only used it twice so far, but I can tell there has been minor changes already to some of my shirts. I will buy this in the future!

Smell is a big reason why I select my laundry detergent. I have always like the smell of Tide products and this is the same. Another important reason is the cleaning ability and tide always gets the job done. I especially like this for colors as I own a ton of darker clothing. So far it has been working great. I always worry about my jeans and darker shirts fading and I believe this will fix that completely. I will definitely be buying again for all my darker clothes.

I have a problem with my colored clothes looking dull and old after several machine wash. Finally I found a detergent that works! I now, don't have to worry about my favorite clothes pilling, discoloration and fading. This detergent is clear blue and smells great. It gives that clean smell after wash on our clothes. This detergent protects the fibers on my clothes and improved the quality and appearance of my our clothes. This works well with jeans/denim,cotton and fleece. I also like that it is paraben free and other harmful chemicals. This will now be my go-to detergent for washing my favorites colored clothes. I totally recommend this product and will definitely stock up on this.

I've used other brands and never could keep my colors from fading in the wash.... Until now! Studio by Tide darks and colors seems to work amazingly. It smells fantastic! Colors look bright and the darks haven't been fading! Doesnt irritate our skin like some products have in the past. Found a new product for the house!

I've always been a Tide user, and I have been looking for a detergent for darks and colors that actually does what it says when washing my clothes. But I also wanted something that is going to be gentle on my clothing. This is gentle. My family and I wear a lot of jeans and darker colors. I've been using this for about a week now, and I have noticed that not only are my husbands jeans are softer, the color did not run in the washing machine and my darker tops kept their color and came out of the washer soft and smelling great. I like the fact that this detergent removes chlorine from water to prevent fading, which will help our clothing keep it's color longer and it lifts body soils from fabrics. My husband works construction and sometimes I have to wash his shirts 2x to help with the smell. I noticed that when I washed his shirts yesterday, no sweat smell. Just clean smelling laundry. This does state that it prevents your clothing from pilling, which I have noticed on several of my t-shirts. I'm hoping over time this does that.

I just got this and tide has always been a great brand and i will keeping buying this brand... I havent had any issues with this brand with my kids... Thanks for the opportunity in testing this product

This is a great laundry soap! A few things really impressed me about this for my laundry! The smell is amazing! This made my clothes smell so clean and fresh!! The next thing is because it is made for he washers I did not have to use alot of detergent to get my clothes clean so I think in the long run you will save money. I love that this will protect my dark color clothes from fading so I can get more use out of my clothes! Another plus is it is parabens, phthlates,and phosphate free!!
